Prologue: The Ancient and The Future

One’s life is like a book, a diary to be precise. Bound with passion and seen by the Almighty as a masterpiece. Every heartbeat writes every word; every day comes every page; and at the end of every milestone, another chapter awaits. It is mere kindness of the Creator to lend us the power to give value to our diaries; not to overlook anything; not to have anyone write it for us; and not to let anyone steal it away. Life is meant to be written, it is meant to be saved.

We've all read of the
In the fertile land of a continent once existed four great clans; the clan of stalwart Alexius in the east, the clan of Caesar (north), the clan of Hiro (south), and the clan of Joanna (west). The civilizations lived in harmony, thrived with their cultures... but decades of peace did not last... Rivalry is inevitable.

At the center of the continent lies a mythical oasis where the clans consider the point of division- the point where the sacred territories meet.

Equality vanished and greed took over the minds of the masters. Thus, conflict took place and blood filled the whole continent. War became the test and their eyes were set at the oasis as the prize. Invading one territory to another and killing lives just to undertake greed made the sky red. It’s as if time decided to collide them together.

Three decades of war, three decades of hatred and the morale of the tribes came weak. None surrendered marking excessive devastation up until…

That winter evening in the cold west was a testament of the test of time. An ambush in the woods of freezing snow - a civilization died… The death of Joanna and her tribe was so brutal that not even a single life was spared.

Somehow everything changed. The heavens saw the west's demise. Death gave birth to equality when a hero named D’Mocrite came. With no identity, he brought back peace to the clans through a riddle.

The riddle was n the Aplistias, intended not to be solved by anyone. Once it is disentangled, equality among the tribes will vanish... but this time, for infinity.

The three remaining tribes united because of the riddle. Their unity altogether gave birth to a symbol of peace and a kingdom of equality, the Monarchy.

It was a historic event. The hero who made the riddle became the first king and the first royal of the Monarchy. By his power and might, he built great walls surrounding the southern, eastern, and the northern part of the continent, preserving the culture of his people.

The wounds of the past were somehow healed. The monarchy was divided into four states; the state of Alexius (east), Hiro (south), Caesar (north), and the Royals who are the heirs of the first king, King D’Mocrite. His riddle continued to lead peace for not even the wise men and the scholars had enough apprehension to solve it throughout the centuries.

The royals became loyal to their great ancestor and kept the monarchy in peace far from the inequality of the past.

The great D’Mocrite once concluded in his writings that another royal from his bloodline in the distant future will possess great knowledge: enough to solve the riddle. The prodigy holds the power to end or to continue the legacy the ancient hero had established- the Monarchy.

Five centuries have passed and the compromised nature the ancient war caused vanished. Harmony served as the fundamental nature of the Monarchy. D'Mocrite's heroism became the anthem of its songs. From its glory, the past became history and the riddle remained as the core of the united states. With its great walls surrounding the entire kingdom, everyone embraced equality and piece in their ken.

His majesty's glory lit the ever grande place.

With its new set of Royals and Council members, King Fabian, the present king ruled the united states with great authority and a pure heart. With an aura of a picturesque ruler, Fabian was a replica of the ancient hero in his deeds.

Not even one of the new generation of Royals was capable of answering the riddle.

The western wind howls a loud whisper. The prodigy is soon to be born.

He who was destined with an ancient calling owns the power to change everything in his sight. A new era of peace? Or an age of eternal darkness?

Will fate and time again unite and prove that change is the only thing permanent in the Monarchy’s diary?
