Chapter 20 - Found

><><><><><>< (Y/N) POV ><><><><><><

Being lost in the woods and not being able to walk gave me a lot of time to think. But, of course, my brain didn't want to think of the ways that I could possibly get out, it wanted to think about that tale that Aphmau told us. The one with those three teenagers that never made it out and everyone thinks they're supposedly dead, yeah, that one. I started to think about if they were here or not, haunting me because I got lost too. I was worried they were keeping me from finding everyone else or keeping everyone else from finding me.

I thought that until I heard an incredibly familiar voice yell my name. "(Y/N)!" 'Finally,' I thought, 'After an hour maybe someone can help me.' "(Y/N)!" The voice yelled once again, getting even closer. "Help!" I yelled back. Sure, maybe calling for help was considered weak, but I like to think that it's not. I've been sitting here for an hour for goodness sakes! All of a sudden, a hand lands on my shoulder making me let out a high shriek and swing my elbow back, hitting the person who stood behind me. Without hesitating, I turned to look at the person behind me who was, the one and only, Zane Ro'Meave. "I'm so sorry!" I apologized when he groaned and held his side that I elbowed, "I-I was frightened."

"What were you even doing down here!" He yelled, "Do you pay any attention to the things around you?!" I lowered my head, looking at the ground and picking at the grass. He groaned, "Come on, let's go." He started walking, not noticing that I wasn't following behind him. I tried to get up but, of course, my foot couldn't handle the pressure. Zane turned around when I fell back for the hundredth time, "What's wrong now?"

I felt my cheeks heat up from embarrassment. "I think I sprained my ankle when I fell down," I mumbled. He squinted his eyes at me and facepalmed, "You fell down the cliff?! Why didn't you look to see where you were going?"

"Sorry," I apologized again, rubbing my throbbing ankle. "I guess there's no choice," Zane said as he walked towards me. His back was faced towards me as he picked up my legs, placing me on his back. I wrapped my arms loosely around his neck so that I wouldn't fall off and, at the same time, not choke him. 'Was this really happening? Was I really piggyback riding Zane?' I looked at the side of his face to see his cheeks dusted red. "Well, let's go," He said as he carried me along the path.

Zane opened the cabin door with me still on his back. Everyone was sitting in the living room, waiting for Zane to get back (with me, of course). Once they heard the door open, they ran over and crowded around us. "(Y-Y/N) are you okay? We're sorry we didn't see you were gone sooner! Kawaii-Chan was worried!" Kawaii-Chan complained, squeezing her eyes shut.

I chuckled lightly, "I'm fine, don't worry about me."

Zane 'tsked', "You're not 'fine', you hurt your ankle right?"

I punched his side that no one could see, making Zane shut up. "I don't know what you're talking about, you just offered me a piggyback ride back home."

Zane, thankfully, took the hint and shut his mouth, not saying anything else as he started to go up the stairs, heading to his room. Everyone else just shared puzzled looks among each other, not really sure what was going on. Once we were out of sight, I glared at the back of Zane's head as he walked down the hall, "What in the world are you doing? They're going to get suspicious."

He just shrugged and opened the door to his room, dropping me down on Travis' bed. I crossed my arms as he shut the door and looked under his bed, pulling something out from underneath it. "What is that?" I asked.

"First aid kit," He answered, pulling it out from under his bed and putting it next to me. He opened the first aid kit and pulled out a bandage. "I don't really know what to do but I'll wrap your foot so it will get better. I don't recommend walking on it much either," Zane spoke whilst he wrapped my foot up in the bandage. "Why don't you tell them you sprained your ankle?" He asked me.

I rubbed my head with my hand and sighed, "I don't know, maybe I just didn't want them to worry about me."

"Is it really that big of a deal?" Zane scoffed, backing away from my foot once he was done. I put a fuzzy sock over my foot that covered the bandage, "No, but still, It's useless for them to worry about a little thing such as this." Zane squinted his eyes at me, not understanding what I was saying, "You're hurt, you need help walking around."

I looked up at him and smiled, "Then you help me. We can just say you lost a bet against me or something." He shot up, "Hey! I never lost a bet to you!" I grinned at him, pulling a penny out of my pocket, "Okay, then let's make a bet. I'm going to flip a coin, heads or tails?"

"Heads," He answered without thinking. I smiled, 'Yes! Every time I pick heads, I always lose against my brothers.' "Okay, so if the penny lands on tails, you have to carry me around, and we will claim it as a bet. And if you win..." I motion him to say something. "You have to tell everyone the truth," He replied. I flipped the coin, watching it turn.

Heads.

Tails.

Heads.

Tails.

Heads...

Tails!

"I win!" I yelled, trying to stand up to celebrate. But, instead, I started to fall. I braced myself for the impact of hitting the floor, and there it was. I hit my head on the floor. "Ouch," I groaned as I sat up, rubbing my forehead with the palm of my hand. I glared at Zane, "Why didn't you catch me?!"

He smiled at me, "That wasn't part of the bet, you said I had to carry you around, not catch you every time you fall."
