Rosy's POV:
I was nowfilling up the tray with snacks, while Zayn kept eating them. I slapped his hands a few times until he finally stopped eating the snacks. He told me a little about his life on tour and about the fans.
“So Zayn, besides an invitation what brings you here?” I was curious to find out why he was here, he wasn't friends with aunt Alexandra.
“Well actually I'm looking for someone.” he smiled a little, “A girl.”
I began to get nervous stumbling with the snacks. I had to play it cool I couldn't let him realize I was nervous. The decision was already made that I would not tell him the truth.
“Now let me ask you something.” Zayn asked while making his way beside me. I nodded in agreement. “Why are you truly doing all of this, I can see that you would much rather be out there enjoying the party rather than being here.”
“You're right but... I guess I'm use to it.” I smiled assuring him that I was okay with everything. But I could tell he looked right through me. I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Zayn embraced me in a heart warming hug.
“It's alright Rosy.” he whispered in my ear. I then found myself crying I felt so safe in his arms that it seemed like it was okay to cry. But I knew I was breaking a promise I had made to myself and to my parents.
“I'm sorry” I pulled away and wiped off the tears, “ I need to get back to work.”
As I picked up two trays of snacks I was reaching out for the third when Zayn snatched it away. “Here let me help you.”
“Oh no you're a guest you shouldn't be doing this.” I tried reaching for the tray but Zayn was resistant.
“No it's okay, let me help. I would rather help you out than being out there surrounded by those annoying girls who only like to talk about themselves.” he winked playfully and I found myself smiling.
“Fine. But you better not drop that tray okay.” I smiled as he nodded and then we made our way out of the kitchen.
Zayn stood behind me as we went around offering snacks. People would stare for a while but then smiled. The good thing about the people in this town was that they weren't judgmental. I heard comments here and there of people wondering if we were dating. I could tell Zayn heard them too because he would blush and look away.
That was weird I had made him blush for the second time, but this time as Rosy.
Zayn's POV:
I had come here to Alexandra Parker's party looking to find the mystery girl from the masquerade party. Yet instead I found someone else, Rosaline. This feeling that I've been having since I bumped into her was somehow familiar. It was almost like the same feeling I had for that girl. I was probably just mistaking those feelings of friendship for feelings like love.
I couldn't possibly be in love with Rosy, right? I mean she's pretty and nice, she has good sense of humor, but she's just not that girl. Although somehow she is also able to make me blush. Could it be that I have fallen for Rosaline too? Could I possibly love two different girls?
“Hey you're doing a good job, maybe I'll hire you next time we have another party here.” Rosy smiled and walked away. I quickly caught up with her.
We continued walking and then I spotted Harry talking with the same girl from the party. Rosaline was starring at them too. She looked sad yet she smiled as if it was nothing. Then I remembered how she and Harry had had a thing a few days ago. Rosy then continued walking towards the kitchen to refill the tray.
