Don't Speak

His scent filled the halls as he started walking;
What is this feeling that I'm feeling?
"Watch it!" he would say as I accidentally bump into him.

But the words just don't seem to come out.
Sometimes it's just build up and ready to shout.

His hair shiny and smooth,
His smile filled my heart with ache and surely I was a swoon.
Yes, I can feel it.
Or no, because they always say "it's too soon to feel anything." or something like that.

Don't speak if you aren't ready to fall.
Or be ready for when the time calls.
