Chapter 1

Ladybug / Marinette's P.O.V.

"Pound it!"

As we fist bump, my earrings beep, warning me that I only have 1 minute left. "Gotta run before I turn back! See you later, Kitty!" I turn and get ready to get my yo-yo out, when Chat Noir holds my wrist. After all the LadyNoir fan fictions I've read (Yes, there are LadyNoir fan fictions, and yes, I do read them 0///0), I expected him to kiss me or something. But instead, he loosens his grip.

"Ladybug, I can't do this anymore. I'm sick of this. I need to know who you are."

I start shaking a bit. This wasn't like any of the other times he tried to get me to tell him. He's serious. My eyes get watery. "Y-you just can't know!" Without even looking back, I run away and leave him there, alone and lost. Once I get to my room, back to my old self, I start crying. Tikki asks me what's wrong, and I tell her that I'm fine. But no one, not even Chloe, is dumb enough to think that I'm okay right now. Finally, I break and tell her everything. "I c-can't show him who I really am! I-i'm afraid he won't like me anymore! I-i'm starting too like him a little too! As more than friends! And then what'll I do with Adrien, I still like him!"

Tikki looks at me. "Marinette, don't worry! He won't turn on you! He's a true friend! And even if he does turn on you, I'll always be here! And besides, you don't HAVE to tell him who you are..."

I don't know how, but this little kwami always makes me feel stronger and better. I smile. "Thanks Tikki. I feel a lot better, thanks to you."

"No problem! But really, don't stress about it too much. And you should get to sleep! You have school tomorrow."

"Ugh. School. That means another day of seeing Chloe." Chloe. I make a face.

"But that means another day of seeing Adrien." Tikki definitely made me wanna sleep there. Adrien.

"Night, Tikki!" I shut my eyes quickly, thinking about Adrien.
