"Wahoo! Yeah, baby!"
Hiccup and Toothless sped around the sanctuary, twirling around the spikes of ice that more than littered the rock. They zipped under an ice sheet and arrived in the massive ice cave that was home to the Bewilderbeast, the king of all dragons.
Hiccup could barely hear him chuckle deeply as they sped around the rock tower in the center, startling all of the dragons that were just taking a leisurely flight. The afflicted dragons grumbled in annoyance before resuming their flight.
Then, Toothless snapped his wings out, making them come to a complete stop in midair, once again scattering the slower dragons. They began to free fall, Toothless letting his tongue into the wind.
Hiccup just laid back and enjoyed the way down.
After a few seconds of relaxation, he sat back up. "Do you think we should pull up?" he asked casually as they plummeted towards the water.
"Eh, maybe tomorrow," Toothless answered.
"Okay, but remember, you called it this time."
They continued to plummet as Hiccup laid back down before rolling off his dragon's back.
As the water quickly got ever closer, Toothless wrapped himself around his rider. He tightened up until he looked like a long, black bullet. He was probably going as fast as one too. This made them a streamined, plummeting package, fresh out of the sky.
They hit the water, diving down like a torpedo.
Toothless opened his wings, slowing them down, and allowing his rider access to his saddle.
Hiccup made his way to the saddle, got into it, and clicked his prosthetic into the stirrup that controlled his dragon's prosthetic. The tail fin immediately snapped into place, sending them up, out of the water at Night Fury pace.
Again, the sudden noise, movement, and speed startled the near by dragons so much, many dropped out of the sky.
Toothless let out a roar before speeding around the perimeter of the ice cave.
"One lap, two laps, three laps," Hiccup began to count how many laps they were taking around the inside of the icy walls. Dragons dropped out of the air every time they passed an opening in the walls. "Four laps, five laps, six -"
"HICCUP!" the roar silenced the cave. Every dragon head turned to face Valka, who had just entered with her Dragon behind her.
Hiccup clicked the fin into a wide position, creating enough drag to stop them. He slowly turned to face his mother.
"Yes?" he asked with the most innocent face he could muster. Which wasn't very convincing.
Valka climbed up to her dragon's back, who took flight into the cave. "We've been over this! The Sanctuary is NOT your raceway! If you want to fly ANY faster than Monsterous Nightmare speed, take it OUTSIDE!!!"
"Your mother's right, son. You need to stop speeding," the King chimed in as if he were against their speeding the whole time.
Hiccup turned to him. "Seriously?! You were just -"
"Hiccup! I want all of your writing utensils!" Valka exclaimed.
"What?!"
The entire cave suddenly exclaimed, "Oooooooooooh!"
Exactly what he'd always wanted. An entire cave of Dragons as annoying siblings.
"But, Mom -"
