As I look out the window on the newspaper and further into the world I realize a frequently occurring theme. All over the news reporters have found a new muse. From tribalism in Kenya, to racism in the western world I cant help but wonder what cause these seeds of hatred to form between people when in my opinion love is the root of all growth.
It is evident that this is an issue if it wasn't we wouldn't be talking about it. But what I continue to ask myself is where did this all come from the hatred, spite and inhumane actions towards one another for when we enter a school we do not state that the teacher must be of a certain religion, race or tribe we simply ask whether or not they are qualified enough to teach our children. Is this really what we wanna teach our children that judging and discriminating on a person because of their race, tribe and cultural background is right? That it is evidently acceptable to separate ourselves from the rest of humanity because we fit into a particular category? If that be the case then we have effectively taken the human out of humanity, and if this happens as a human race what are we left with?
It is not simply a particular race or tribe that is to blame it is society as a whole for indulging on these actions, for letting this stem from the past to the present and possibly the future is these actions persist. It is evidently to late to educate the present generation on tolerance so surely we must begin by educating future generations.
