AARON’S POV

Date. Romantic night outs. Candle light dinners. Gifts. Flowers. Chocolates. That’s just too cliché. I clutched my hair in my hands frustrated and tired. This just won’t work.

“Sean man! Do you really think this all would work on her?” I asked him quite frustrated.

“Yeah. She’s a girl man and trust me girls love these mushy stuff. Trust me.” he said in his usual cocky self.

“She’s is not a normal girl for Christ’s sake. Come on, you claim you love her. She would laugh at these things. Trust me.” I said mocking him.

‘’Alright then what do you suggest huh? Seeming that in a day you have grown to know her quite well” he asked his fist clutched tightly.

On hearing this a knowing smirk formed on my face “Jealous much. Dude you need not worry. She’s not my type.”

“Whatever now you think what you’ll do” he said becoming slightly less annoyed by my comment

“Yeah right” and I began thinking. What would make a slut fall in love? A geeky guy. Na this is no chick-flick. A player. Maybe but opposites attract dude. Then…???

A flirt who could warm up her heart? Perfect…

“Look dude I have a plan.” I said after 15 minutes of thinking.

“Finally I thought you dozed off.” He said accusingly.

“Do you wanna listen or not?” I said angrily. He raised his hands in mock surrender.

‘’Look” I continued what I was about to say before I was rudely interrupted. “The plan is that let me first be able to make her trust me. Be friendly with her in a flirtious way and then take her on dates and your mushy stuff.”

“You think this would work?” he asked confused.

“Yes probably because with this first I would break her shield that she has made around her and then she would trust me.” I said quite confidently.

“Cool but remember. You yourself don’t fall for her.” He advised me cautiously as if afraid that I would flip out. I gave a long sigh and said” don’t worry dude. Like I said she is not my type and I am not the one who falls for girls like her. No offence.”

If he became angry by my comment then he didn’t showed it as he kept a neutral expression on his face.

“Great I am going to football practice” he got up saying this. As he was about to leave my room, he stopped and turned and said “two things-don’t tell Gabriel about this because you know he is with Sav’s best friend Calla and second there is a party tonight at my place, and you better be there cause we will start with the plan today itself. The sooner the better”

“I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” I said with a smirk.

He nodded to me and left me thinking of how much fun would I have with this girl.

STILL AARON’S POV-PARTY NIGHT

When I reached at Sean’s place, the party was at full swing. I saw girl’s wearing the shortest dress they owned drinking and dancing and few couples making out in secluded corners and I bet many of them would be having the time of their lives in the rooms upstairs.  Typical Sean’s party. My eyes searched for the girl that needed to be tamed aka Savannah. Nah! No signs of her anywhere. Where is she?  Maybe she is already upstairs or she hasn’t come yet which was unlikely as I had heard she is a typical party animal and not to mention a slut. Well if she’s upstairs then Sean would kill me for being late or as I call it fashionably late. As if on cue, I saw Gabriel coming towards me with a drink in hand.

“There you are I thought Sean forgot to tell you. Here take this and enjoy man.” He said giving me the drink which I gladly accepted. He signaled me to follow him which I did in hopes of finding Sav (Savannah is such a long name isn’t?) and yes he did took me to where Sav and her friend were sitting….What was her name again Calla or Isabella yeah something like that. Sav appeared to be quite tipsy as she was raising her hands in the air and moving it with the music, in a way no same person would do.

On seeing me her eyes widened slightly and she looked at me suggestively. “Hey Aaron wanna dance?” she said stutteringly. Yeah totally tipsy but not yet drunk.

I smirked and agreed and she took my hand and led me to the dance floor which was crowded with people dancing here and there. We swayed swiftly with the music but as the song continued we lost ourselves into the lyrics of the song and danced like lunatics.  While dancing we became extremely close and she was grinding herself against me. Well now this was awkward I mean I just can’t have my way with her Sean really likes her and isn’t it against the bro code or something? Well I have to act fast because she was really close to me and in the end I am also a guy and have my needs to be fulfilled. But if I say no to her then she’ll find anyone else and I bet there would be a lot of boys here who would want to spend the night with her.

Is it jealously I hear? The voice inside my head said.

No it is anger because if that happens then we would be back to square one. I replied back.

Ugh! What am I doing?  Having a conversation with myself at this point of time. Just then an idea clicked my mind. Yes this could work. I held Sav by her waist and said “not hear lets go somewhere more private” in her ear.  She looked up at me and smirked and agreed. Instead of taking her in anyone of the rooms upstairs I led her to the exit but not before giving a reassuring look to Sean who was watching us since the time we started dancing with a girl by her arm who was begging for his attention. On reaching the parking lot Sav placed her lips onto mine and kissed me passionately, leading her hand to travel through my back before she started playing with my hair. This caused me to place my hand on her lower back.  A minute into the probably the most heated kiss of my life my mind snapped back into action and I pulled back gasping for air.  Keeping her away from me would be difficult to say the least.
