I went to my seat and thought what in god's name was Vladimir doing that Dion was so scared of?

I sure as hell don't want to be on Vladimir's bad side.

All the thinking made me tired and quite frankly I didn't have a good night sleep so I fell asleep with my head against the window.

The bus ride took about 2 days with refreshment stops and what not.

The way to Russia is beautiful, and Russia itself was beautiful. All the old buildings and the nature.

When I finally reached Saint Petersburg I was exhausted, hungry and stinky but all I could think was how is this Vladimir going to be like? At the exit of the bus station a big burly man in a suit was waiting for me.

He had short black hair about 6’5 and had his sunglasses on he looked about 23 old or so. I approached him and said “I had a long ride. We going?” For some reason it was the password for him to know I was me. Stupid password if you ask me but no one asked.

The man only nodded and started to walk to his car. He has a nice black Mercedes with leather interior and the heat was blowing when I entered it and it was all I cared about.

“I’m sorry if I don’t smell all too nicely right now… I didn’t take a shower recently” I said in Russian

“It’s okay; the boys are worse then you.” The guy said in English in this really heavy accent.

“You can go take a shower when we reach Vladimir’s place. I’m Dmitry. You can call me Dima.” He offered.

“Thanks, I’m Danielle, you can call me Danny.” I said with a small smile.

“So how long until we get there?” I was tired of the road

“Not too long” and it really wasn’t all too long. 10 minutes we were there.

There meant a mansion. It was big and beautiful, like it was pulled out of the middle ages. With a forest all around the mansion and a little further I was able to see a little lake.

“Wow” I said after we drove past the coded entrance to the garage that held so many expansive beautiful cars.

It made Dima’s Mercedes look like a cheap toy.

“Man what is Vladimir doing that he has so much money?” I said to myself but of course Dima heard it and said “You’ll know pretty soon…” with a smile and lead me inside the house.

The inside was even more impressive than the outside. The garage leads to a big tall hall. There was red carpet and many paintings were hanging on the walls, we went from the hall to a big area that leads you to the kitchen, the living room and to a staircase.  Everything in this house was big and screamed money and power.

Dima lead me upstairs and we entered the second floor. There were many doors and you can get lost easily. We went all the way to the end of the hall and Dima opened the door one before the last one and showed me in.

“This will be your room for your stay. You have a bathroom here. Take about an hour and a half to freshen up and go down stairs to the living room that you saw before to meet Vladimir. Don’t be late.” Dima explained everything and went to close the door and I barely said a lame “Thank you”.

My room was very nice, a lot better than the shit I rented back in Greece I even had a TV! The walls were painted a calming cream color and the bed looked so inviting but I didn’t have enough time to sleep and I feared of not waking up in time to meet Vladimir.

I went to the bathroom and it was really nice. I took off my clothes in an instant and filled up a nice warm bath. I threw in there some bath salt and once the bath was filled up enough for my liking I went inside and my muscles relaxed right away.
