Ch. 5

•Melody's P.O.V•

I end the call and sit down on the couch.

Do I still love him? I mean I went without him for a year and a half.

'Same with Louis' my subconscience said.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door to my flat.

I open it up.

"OMG I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" I squealed in excitement.

"I know right? I thought I would surprise you to visit."

"Come on in Dani you can stay however long you'd like."

"Thanks." she cheered placing her bags onto the floor.

"Elena come and see Aunty Dani!" I call out.

I heard a thump and the door opening. Elena ran out of the door and into Dani's arms.

"I missed you Aunty Dani." she mutters into her neck.

I awe and quickly snap a picture of their little bonding.

"Hey it's almost 6 o'clock we should head out to celebrate that you are back." I cheer.

"I think that's a good idea." Dani nods.

I take Elena's hand and walk into her room.

"Sit down on your bed and be a good girl for me okay?" I ask heading towards her closet. I take out a cute blue and purple ruffly dress and help her change into it. I then braid her hair to the side and add a headband.

"Go to Aunty Dani." I tell her and walk to my room.

I put on high waisted shorts and a tanktop. I put my hair into a pony tail, not caring that I didn't have makeup on. My face needs to breathe.

I grabbed my clutch and walked back to the living room to meet up with Dani and Elena.

"Are you guys ready?" I asked

"We've been ready." Dani rolled her eyes.

I huffed walking out after them making sure to lock the door.

Once we get settled in the car I asked,"Hows Liam?"

Danielle frowned.

"Melody," Dani sighs,"I think he's in depression."

I gasp, Liam in depression? No.

"What do you mean?" I ask confused

"Ever since you left, he wasn't himself. He doesn't boss the boys around, going into 'Daddy Direction mode'. He also doesn't want to, you know." she bit her bottom lip as I wiggled my eyebrows.

"That's horrible." I frown

She shrugs and turns on the engine. And yes I'm not driving, Dani is.

As we were making our way down the street toward the resturaunt we were going to be at, there was a truck heading our way.

"Dani watch out!" I yell grabbing the wheel and turning it. We did a 360 spin and tumbled off the road, the car slipping down the grass.

This all happened in slow motion.

Danielle's hand went flying back as she banged her head against the window immediately knocking her out. I looked to see all the trees passing by, and the windows slowly cracking then breaking into a million pieces.

My hands flew to my seatbelt struggling to take it off.

Finally, when the seatbelt came off I dived to the backseat and huddled around Elena trying to use myself as a shield so she doesn't get hurt and I get the damage. Poor girl she is probably frightened, heck I'm even scared.

Tears fall out of my eyes as I heard the car smacking into something, then everything went all black.

Niall & Liam's P.O.V:

"Back on E!" The reporter said,"Turns out that Danielle Pazer, Liam's girlfriend went out to the Dominican to visit the famous Melody Payne.

Sad news is that they were in a terrible accident." *shows picture*

"No one knows how they are doing, but it looks very crucial. Well tell you how they are doing when we get back on E!"

We look at each other in shock .

Holy Shit.
