I woke up, my hair in long, messy, pigtails. I froze when I realized there was someone on my bed. "L... Luke!?" I recalled what had happened yesterday and my face heated up, causing me to start to hide under my blanket.
Luke yawned and stretched. "Um... Lowell?" he pulled on the blanket. "Lowellll?" he smiled as he pulled on the blanket more. "Fine."
I thought he had left so I peeked out. I let out a slight scream as I saw him jumping. He landed on me and I laughed when I kicked him off the bed. "Why are you in my bed.... Let alone my room?"
Luke groaned, rubbing his head. "I only wanted to.... Er.... Um...." his face turned red, redder than mine and I laughed a bit.
I stepped out of my bed, my feet hitting the cold floor. "I'm hungry." I mumbled and walked downstairs to the kitchen.

~Lukes pov

I watched her walk away, my heart beating fast. 'she's so beautiful when she sleeps...' I was so relieved that she had walked away instead of insisting I tell her why I was here.

Well. Might as well join her.... She'll wonder where all of the food came from. I laughed to myself and followed her down the stairs and into the kitchen.

Lowell~
I walked down the stairs, noticing the scent of food. I walked into the kitchen and froze. I scented something burning and walked over to the stove.
Luke walked down the stairs a moment later and his eyes widened as he saw my hand go to turn off the stove. "Lowell!" he screamed as the burner suddenly caught on fire, burning my arm.
I screamed and yanked backwards at the touch of the flames, bringing my arm to my chest and knocking down the pan and pancake batter next to it.
I backed away my arm burning. Luke ran over, put out the fire with an extinguisher, and gently grabbed my arm. His face was hidden from view as he looked down at the long burn, my skin blistered. He looked up again and he had tears in his eyes. "I.... I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-"
I waved him off and hugged him. "I'm okay..." I whispered and he took my hand. "No.... You're not. Here, let's call an ambulance or.... Something!"
I laughed and shook my head. "I'm fine." I whispered.
He reached forward and embraced me in his arms. "I'm sorry."
