                                               King's Parade

A white bird flew across the sky flapping it's strangely shaped wings, perhaps a messenger bird from the royal palace soaring over the growing crowd of Terra, the heart of Creilia and the home of the king himself, King Kuru, also known as the noble that united the four kingdoms into one country, The great country of Creilia, lost only two times and won six wars, no one was wrong when they described the country-no, the king was unstoppable.

The crowd mentioned though wasn't like the ones gathering a street magician or free give outs, it was bigger and everyone knew the occasion, The king's parade, held only once a year, a long line of decorated and bedazzled elephants dragging along wheeled platforms carrying groups of Aquan maidens dancing, trained Ignian men swirling around batons covered in flames and galloping alongside the wooden platforms were heavily armored horses carrying Terrian soldiers but the ones that got everyone's attention were the Ventuian choir that sang aloud:

Oh, the admirable sight!
The country of Creilia,
United from four!
Opened their kingdom doors,
And let the king's reign alive!

An almost deafening cheer echoed throughout the city's main area as they sung the chorus, which was about the four kingdoms:

South east, talented Aqua resides where islands and mermaids are found,
South west, the graceful Ventus dwell with hurricanes and tornados as well ,
Up North is where the sand covered lands are, the heat withstood in Ignis,
And Terra, not north nor south, the heart of Creilia, homeland of the living King!

The huge crowd's shouts and cheers rose to a crescendo as an exceptionally large elephant with a golden elephant caparison carried a howdah made of multiple kinds of wood and leaves, and sitting in the howdah was obviously King Kuro and his only child, Princess Aki, both of them remained as the last royal family, the Harro family.

In the midst of the parade the princess noticed something among the noon sky, after adjusting to the bright rays of the sun a bird-like silhouette was spotted soaring in a circular manner in the sky, perhaps it was just a falcon or vulture or a lost messenger bird, General Leilak noticed the princess's odd manner and glanced at where she was staring at, his eyes widened in realization.
"Soldiers, prepare your weapons!" The General yelled, upon hearing his voice the cheers of the crowd stopped at once and twisted their necks to the direction where the soldiers were looking, it was a bird, no, a kite, no, a......

"What is that?" The King asked himself but before anyone could answer, a bright purple light reflected from the sun as a loud voice was heard,
"Die king of fools, for the true king is I, the true kingdom shall rise when you fall!"

On that moment a rain of arrows shot down from the heavens whilst the temperature shot up, the royal soldiers swung their shields above their heads but some were too late, villagers quickly ran to their houses but the lightning quick arrows pierced through them already.

The king hid inside the howdah shielding his head from the arrows with a dead soldier's helmet unable to see a single thing through the helmet and rain of arrows.

For all it may seem as a tragedy or a disaster,
But for some it seems as the new era, the great war of Creilia.
