3RD POV
Fionna woke up to find Marshall Lee out cold on her bed next to her, his red plaid shirt was torn and he was covered in scratches and bruises. In an instant everything that had happened in the last 24 hours came rushing back to her and she tried so hard not to cry but a single sob escaped from her lips.
"No, Marshall why?! Why did you do it? I can't lose you, not after everything that's happened..." He didn't even stir as she broke down in tears on his chest.

A couple of months before...
Fionna's POV
Cake was in the kitchen making bacon pancakes for breakfast, mmm I love Cakes cooking especially her famous bacon pancakes.
I quickly got up out of bed and got dressed; I put on my black see-through shirt with gold studs up the front and around the collar over a white singlet, as well as some black studded short shorts, some black tights and my black and gold converse. After I was done with my clothes I did my makeup with winged eyeliner. I went over to my dresser and couldn't decide on my usual bunny hat or some black butterfly wing clips I made which gave me little cat ears if I folded up the ends on the top of my head. I decided to ask Cake.
"Hey Cake," I said while walking down stairs and into the kitchen. "Should I wear my hat or my butterfly clips?" she turned around to look at me.
"Wow you look AMAZING gurl! Definitely the clips with that outfit"
"Thanks Cake" I say as I sit down at the table and put them in my hair. Cake brings my plate of food over and sits down to eat hers.
"Mmmmmm. This is Delicious Cake!"
"Thanks Honey, Hey I'm gonna go see Lord M today ok?"
"Sure Cake, have fun. Mind if I catch a ride over to the Candy Kingdom with you? I wanna go see PG."
She smirked at me and purred "Surrre girl"
"Cake I don't like him anymore that was nearly 4 years ago, I'm 17 now. Besides I just wanna hang out with him like normal friends do!"
"Mmhmm whatever you say honey"
After we finished eating our heavenly pancakes I put our plates in the sink and washed them, then I went into the bathroom to make sure my fringe was in its normal style and my cat-ears were in place and went back out to cake.
"Ok Cake I'm ready to go if you are."
"Ok hop on then baby cakes."
And with that she stretched us over to the candy kingdom. When we got there Lord Monochromicorn was waiting for Cake outside the castle with Prince Gumball.
"Hey Gummy" I said and smiled at him.
"Ok well Lord M and I are gonna go. We probably won't be back till late so don't wait up." Cake said and started walking away.
"Ok have fun you two!" I yelled after her.
I turned back to Gumball and noticed he was staring at me.
"What is it? Is there something in my hair??!" I asked frantically.
He chuckled "No Fionna your perfect, I've just never seen you without your hat or with makeup on" he smiled at me.
"Oh, really?" I asked in disbelief. "How's everything been with you and the candy kingdom? I haven't seen you in a while.."
"Oh you know the usual," he started as we walked inside. "I've mainly been experimenting on this and that, How've you been?"
"OH MY GLOB! You wouldn't believe how many princes the ice queen has been capturing lately, it's crazy! I haven't even had time to go adventuring in dungeons, and you know how much I Love my dungeons! She even tried to capture Marshall lee!"
"Really? Ice Queen tried that on Marshall?!?" He burst out laughing "OH MY GLOB THAT'S HILARIOUS!!!"
"I know right?" I said " so far she's captured LSP, Hot Dog Prince, Raggedy Prince, Slime Prince....."

Time skip~~~~~~
"It's gonna start getting dark soon I should probably head home, Cya Gummy" I say and get up to leave.
"It was fun today we should do this more often" He said and pulled me in for a goodbye hug.
I hugged him back and said "Yeah we should" and pulled away. "Cya!"
"Cya Fionna" he said as I left.
I opened my front door and walked to the kitchen. "Hey Marsh" I said as I passed the living room, wait Marshall?!?!? I walked back to the living room to find Marshall Lee The Vampire King slightly floating above my couch sucking the red from an apple while playing BMO.
"Hey Fi" He said and turned to look at me, for a split second his jaw dropped before he pulled his mouth into a smirk and said "Wow Fi I really like the new style"
"Thanks Marsh, But Why exactly are you in my house, eating my food and playing on BMO?
"I was bored I Guess so I came over to hang with you, when I realised you weren't here I just hung around and waited for you."
Marshall's POV (first time :3)
Damn she looks cute with those little cat ears. What the hell did I just say!?, I don't like her I swear on my immortal life.
"Ok" she says as she comes over to sit on the couch next to me. "What're we playing?"
"BMO, could you switch to co-op please? Fi here wants to try and beat me." I say with a smirk.
"oh it is on" Fionna says as BMO hands her the second controller and we start to play.

Time skip~~~
After about an hour of me nearly getting my ass kicked by Fi, BMO saves me by saying she needs to charge her batteries.
"What do you want to do now Fi?"
"I know lets watch a horror movie!"
"Ok" I say and head over to the TV to pick a movie while Fi makes popcorn and gets blankets, when Fi comes back with the popcorn I put in the movie and we go sit down together on the couch.
After a while we shifted positions so that I was lying in the couch at an angle with Fi stretched out on the rest of the couch resting her head on my chest. Not long after that she was asleep and I gently stroked her hair as I drifted off to sleep myself.
