Catalinas POV....
I was dressed in my uniform for my new job I'm working as a lifeguard.
20 mins later..
So I'm at my job and I already figured everything out people wise. there's the girl that I'm obviously gonna be besties with.

there's a girl who gets every guy

and then there's a really cute guy.

Their names are Amy(besty)alexia(pretty girl)and jovani(cute guy) they are all really chill.so it was my turn to watch so jovani and me were walking and talking we got to the huge freakin chair.

"So good luck cat it's hard at first but you will get the hang of it"
"Thanks jay well go finish your break your gonna need it"
"Yea well I will talk to you later"
"Yea definitely bye"
"Bye"
With that he walked off and so far everything was going well,but I was looking at these boys messing with this little girl on the deep side so I blew my whistle and told them to stop.after that I needed water so I grabbed my water bottle.when I turned back around I saw the little girl drowning so I  jumped in and swam to her and put her on the concrete and gave her CPR but before i could jovani came running out.
"Cat what happened"
"I turned my head to get some water and she was drowning"

He started doing CPR and told me to call her mom over the intercom 'Sarah Gonzales mother plzz report to the life guard post Sarah Gonzales mother plzz report to the life guard post' I got off and noticed the little girl was hugging jay they let go and the mom ran over and hugged her

"What happened to you"
"She went a little too far in"
"Omg what did I tell you Sarah don't go that deep you could have died"
"I sowwy mommy"
"It's ok let's go home I think that's enough pool for a day thank you guys for saving her I really appreciate it"
"No problem we are just doing are job have a good day"
With that she walked away leaving me and jovani alone.
"You look really pretty with your hair wet"
"Thanks but let's try to key the flirting level down there are still kids here"
"I know but I just had to say it"
He kissed my hand and we went back to doing what we were doing. Why did he kiss my hand does he like me I got a text from Amy

amy:he totally likes you

Me:no he doesn't

amy:yes he does

Me:how do u know
amy:cause Im freaking Amy I know everything I know what you ate for lunch yesterday
Me:how do you know that
amy:I follow you on Instagram
Me:oh
amy:you wanna talk about it
Me:sure but when it's jovanis turn
amy:ok

I went back to watching the kids.i saw a something brown in the water. I automatically knew it was poop. I blew the whistle telling everyone to get out so I could clean it. it was really gross but kids shouldn't be swimming in this.

10 mins later jovanis shift.....
I went inside the break room and saw Amy on her phone, and alexia talking to a guy that shouldn't be in here, but I don't care I went to go talk to Amy,
"Hey"
"Hey soooo"
"Um I don't know"
"Do you like him or not cause i think you guys would be cute"
"Why do you say that"
"Cause you just met today and he already looks like he's in love with you"
"I don't know he's nice and all but like you said I just met him and I'm not sure if i like him yet like I barely know him you know"
"I get it but the thing is you just met me today and you completely trust me"
"That's different we won't date with jovani there's a possibility"
"Look at you thinking about dating"
"Yea I mean I would date jovani like he seems like he would treat me right but he would have to wait for me"
"What do you mean wait for you"
"Well I want to be a nurse when after highschool. I want to go to college I know I'm planning ahead but I'm already 17 almost 18 next year I will be graduating and going"
"But you can't"

"What are you guys talking about"
"Be quiet alexia"
"It's not alexia its jovani"
He sat down next to me and looked at me with his blue eyes
"H-hey"
"Hey why you stuttering"
"Um n-no reason"
"No come on tell me why you can always tell me"
this point no one was in the room but me and him.
"Me and Amy just were talking"
"About what I won't tell"

"Oh what exactly were you saying"
"Nothing too serious just stuff"
He was extremely close to me he was staring and smiling
"What kind of stuff"
"she was just asking me if i-"
I started closing my eyes and leaning I felt his lips. it was so gentle and passionate we started to have a soft make out session. he intertwined our fingers and caressed my cheek. we broke apart and just stared at each other.
"Um wow"
"Sorry it just kinda happened I swear It didn't mean anything"
"Oh ok I understand I should go"

Amy came running in really happy.

"AHHHH you guys were alone"
"Yea we were"
"What's wrong"
"I didn't mean it"
"You didn't mean what"
I told her what happened and she just sat there in shock.
"you shouldn't have said that"
"why"
"Cause he obviously thought it was love and now that you said that he's gonna think that what he felt is just a crush"
"Oh well that doesn't make me even more stressed out"
"Sorry but all I can say is you need to talk to him like now"
I started running after him and finally found him.
"jay wait"
"Don't call me jay anymore"
"Ok jovani wait"
"No"
"Why"
"Cause I don't want to talk to you ever again"
"Why"
He turned around walked up to me
"Because that kiss might have not meant anything to you but it sure as hell did to me"
"Look I'm sorry ok you were my first kiss i dont kow what to say to that I've never felt these things before yes I did feel stuff from the kiss I felt butterflies,sparks,love everything ok I was scared"
"You don't think that was my first huh but yet I still didn't tell you it meant nothing now did I"
I was crying now and he started walking away.

"No jovani please don't go"

"why not"
"No you can't"
"Why the hell not"
"Because I love you"
"Well I'm in love with you"
"Then why don't you just ask me out"
"Cause I don't wanna go on a date with you"
"Wow you love me but don't wanna go out with me"
"I mean is I want you to just be my girlfriend already"
