Hermione's POV:

I kept to the shadows of the street.

I really hoped that Ron hadn't noticed my absence yet.

I only had had about a hour lead.

It was a dark night, but the moon was full, and it lit up the street.

That's why I stayed off the road and avoided the streetlights.

I crept along, jumping at every noise.

A twig breaking.

The rustle of wind.

A tree branch shifting.

I walked along the road, completely alert.

I kept the time with my watch that I had hidden in my clothing.

Ron had searched me, but he didn't find the watch.

Now I had it on my wrist.

I had my wand, the knife, some money, and the watch.

Nothing that could pass as food or water.

I knew that I had to find a place to sleep, but my stomach growled with hunger.

The first time it growled, I thought that it was a bear.

Thankfully, it wasn't.

I tried to think of the last time I ate.

It was at Draco's house.

The dinner before I was taken.

That was three days ago.

And to make my hunger worse, Ron had to eat every meal of his right in front of me.

Pizza.

Burgers.

Pancakes.

Waffles.

Crackers.

Three days, nine meals.

Nine times of torture.

As I was walking along, I heard a sudden pop behind me on the road, maybe back 100 feet.

I hid behind a tree extremely quickly.

That was the sound of an apparation.

And it was.

I peeked out from behind my tree.

In the moonlight, I saw a flash of red hair.

It was Ron.

I completely froze.

He looked around.

His eyes stopped at my tree.

I was petrified with fear.

However, he disappeared with a pop.

After a minute, my lungs began to burn.

I realized that I had been holding my breath.

I let it out with a whoosh.

I took deep breaths, trying to calm down my heart.

After a minute, it worked.

I decided to try to apparate somewhere.

It was risky, not hanging my own wand, but I needed to try.

I took a deep breathe and apparated.

I ended up in front of a small restaurant.

I shook my arms and legs, making sure nothing had been damaged.

All was well.

I stumbled inside the restaurant.

As soon as the workers at the ordering bar saw me, she gasped.

"Someone! Help this girl!" She called.

All eyes turned to me.

I realized that I was covered in blood.

They rushed over to me.

One picked me up and put me on his back.

"Call an ambulance!" He called.

One reached for a phone on the wall.

She dialled 9-1-1.

"Hello? We have a hurt girl here. She needs an ambulance." She said.

She waited for a second before saying their address.

I couldn't tell what she said.

She nodded and hung up.

She came over to me and grabbed my hand.

"It'll be okay." She said.

I let my eyes close as I nodded.

I saw her smile.

Soon, the ambulance arrived.

I opened my eyes.

The flashing lights were too bright.

I opened my eyes again, and the lights got dimmer until nothing was there anymore.

Yay!

She got found!

Now she can be reunited with Draco!

Well, I hope that you like the most recent turn of events.
