In hope he wrapped himself firmly

Though cascading sorrowfalls fell

From the corners of his eyes

In hope he wrapped himself surely

Though no sigh and no lie

Could bring him comfort

Though the world would attempt

His life to crush

Though the very walls of his mind

Closed in upon his heart

Though cries and lies circled around him

As his closest friend there lies, and dies, dies, dies

Though Fate itself had set out

His ruin in deadly intent

Though all tragedy left him spent

His heart stayed rent

From the corners of his eyes

His heart’s burden fueled by lies as he cries

But

In Hope he wrapped himself firmly

His heart would not lose strength

His soul on a promise alone was bent

As to another his heart was lent

His eyes fixed on a person to whom he was sent

Saving from beyond the forbidden fence

He would not waver he would not lose sense

Of his purpose to save

To save the dreams of a soul before it is too late

And left alone to hate

Left alone to Hope surely

Nothing left beside

Hope would give him all he needed

And he would endure all else in stride

And in Hope he wrapped himself firmly

As cascading sorrowfalls fell

From the corners of his eyes

His heart’s burden expressed in sighs and tries

In hope Sorrowfalls surely

And none is left besides

The time escapes as he cries

His arms wrapped firmly

In hope, his promise, and the one he holds dearly
