*RING* *RING*
My alarm goes at 6:00 am. "Time for school Skylar, get out of bed." My mom says outside my door. I hop out of my loft and get dressed. I throw on my black Adidas sweatshirt and jeans. Put my hair up in a mess bun and go to the kitchen to eat breakfast.
"So do you have any tests today?" My mom asks me. "Yeah, one in math." I respond. I walk to school, I sit next to my friends in the gym. "I can't wait for today to be over" Scarlet, my best friend, says. "Seriously school hasn't even started yet." I say. "I know , but I don't want to take the stupid math test." We all laugh.
My friends and I walk to class. I have science first. Me and Scarlet walk into Mr. Dye's class and sit in our desks, which of course are right next to each other.
"Hey I need to tell you something in private, come to the bathroom with me." Scarlet says. "Ok." I agree. We walk to the bathroom. "Ok listen I'm having a sleepover on Saturday and I wanted to kn-" Scarlet gets cut off by the announcements. "Stranger danger this is not a drill." The principal says frantically on the intercom. "Scarlet we need to go back to class." I say, she nods and we start sprinting down the hallway. When we reach Mr. Dye's classroom door we knock as hard as we can. No one comes.
Me and Scarlet look and each other when a loud noise was coming from the stairs. "I'm gonna kill you all, I'm gonna kill you all!" A mans deep voice comes from the stairs. We run back to the bathroom and hid until we have a chance to go somewhere else. We hear the mans heavy feet stomp through the hallway, getting closer, and closer.
