"R-Raven? Are- are you ok? You've been really, out of it lately.. It's been days Raven, please get out of your room." I say, banging on Raven's door. She mumbles and opens her door, a box of tissues in her hand, makeup running down her face.
"Can't you read?" Raven says, anger in her tone. "It says, do. Not. Disturb. Now leave me alone!" She shouts slamming her door. I shove my hand in before it closes, she clearly sees my hand but she slams the door anyway. That's going to leave a mark... "Raven please. We're worried about you. Just come out of your room for one day. Just one day then you can go back to being a grumpy little potato." I say with a smirk on my face.
"If you stop calling me a potato I might think about it." Raven replies.
"Now can you please open your door? My hand really hurts." I plead. She opens the door, letting my hand free. I release a sigh of relief, walking back into the living room. "So? Is she coming?" Marshall says, pacing the room.
"Yep. We have one day." I reply, opening a bag of Cheetos. "Dude you ok? You look really stressed." I ask Marshall, who is still pacing the room.
"Right now I am probably the last person Raven wants to see. She- she hates me." He says sitting down.
"Marshall, you don't need to be so worried. Everything will be fine. She probably forgot?" I say nervously, trying to make Marshall feel better. I nervously laugh, I can tell this conversation is getting worse.
"So. You dragged me out here, don't tell me we're just going to sit around all day?" Raven says, stealing one of my Cheetos. Raven looks over in Marshall's direction, not noticing him before. "Oh. You're here. Well this has been fun I'm going back to my room. See ya," Raven says, scurrying off.
"Oh no you don't," I start, grabbing Raven's hand, "it took me days to get you out here. You're not leaving yet." Raven sighs, grabbing more of my Cheetos. I swat her hand away, cradling the Cheetos bag in my arms.
"Raven I-" Marshall starts, standing up.
"Don't. Speak." Raven says, looking away from him.
"Hey! Umm, I have tickets to this cool water park!" I say, pulling three water park tickets or of my pocket.
"No way! Those tickets are impossible to get!" Raven says in disbelief.
"I know people," I say with a smirk on my face.
We get in Marshall's car and head to the water park. Nobody says a word the entire car ride. It's understandable, Marshall did just break up with Raven a few days ago. Turns out Marshall is actually gay, hah hah... I honestly don't know how Raven didn't see it.. I don't know why I did this. This is a terrible idea. We all used to be amazing friends, we'd do everything together. Now it's, it's all gone. I just wanted all of us to hang out again like we used to.. "G-guys.. Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Marshall says, pointing at a giant dragon flying straight towards us. We all scream, Marshall swerves the car off the highway, sending us tumbling down a hill. I wake up in the middle of a forest, I must've blacked out because I don't remember the rest. "Don't move." Marshall says, I look around. The car is rocking back and forth. We-were on top of a tree. "Big issue," Marshall starts, "big dragon, found us, we going to die." I look to my left to see that the dragon is indeed coming straight towards us at full speed. I look at Raven, she's passed out. "Idea. We jump out of car. Now!" I say, too scared to form a complete sentence that makes sense. I grab Raven and open my door jumping out. Me being the smart person I am, I forgot to unbuckle Raven, so I ended up jumping out without her. "Shit!" I shout, hitting the ground hard. Thankfully that wasn't a very tall tree. Marshall is already on the ground waiting for me. "Where's Raven?!?" He yells. I point to the car, fear and guilt taking control of my body. As soon as Marshall looks at the car the dragon rams into it head on, sending the car flying. "No!" Marshal yells, throwing a puny stick at the dragon. And with our great luck the dragon noticed the stick, and turns its head to us, with Raven in his mouth. "Let her go!" Marshall yells, throwing more sticks and rocks. The dragon hops down, making a huge thud. The ground shakes. My whole body is trembling, Marshall's yelling turns into muffled sounds, and everything becomes a blur. The next thing I know I hear a crunch, blood splatters all over me. I look towards Marshall to see if he's ok, he's covered in blood too. I look up at the dragon to see it swallowing Raven. I scream, picking up a stick and running towards the dragon. "Rowan! Don't!" Marshall calls, but I don't listen to him. I jab the stick into the dragons paw, blood staining the wood. The dragon cries in pain, lifting its paw. It lifts its paw right over me, it's going to crush me. I'm paralyzed with fear, my life flashing before my eyes. "Rowan!" Marshall screams, pushing me out of the way. The dragon stomps on Marshall, covering me in more blood. Both of my best friends are dead, and it's all my fault.
