" You're nothing but a puny, insignificant little water witch! Just let go, and you can be free; free to be who you truly are meant to be... " Jasper shouted. A twisted grin then slowly crept upon her face, making her seem truly chaotic.
Lapis was ready to give in. For weeks, she had kept Jasper sealed at the bottom of the sea; somewhere where she couldn't get to Steven. She soon remembered why she was doing it; she was doing it for him. He had shown her kindness by freeing her from that... horrible torture device. She thought, after so many questions that had been asked to her by gems that didn't care about her one way or another, that her own burning question wouldn't ever get answered. When would she be freed? Thousands of years went by, and no one even gave a single thought about who or what was even in the mirror. At least, this is the way it was until Steven set her free.
" I won't give in! I know better than to do that. I have a reason to still struggle. " Lapis said through clenched teeth.
" What, do you mean that disgusting hybrid friend of yours? He shouldn't even exist! I had respect for Rose and her fighting tactics, but this? This was the breaking point. Giving her form up to a small, weak being was a huge mistake. What was she thinking? Now, things are different. I have no respect for anyone now, and I will consume you! You can't fight forever. " Jasper said, and soon followed an evil cackle that could only come from a truly twisted person.
" I'll die for him! " Lapis shouted, trying to break free from Malachite.
Suddenly, there's pounding around them. What could be making such a noise?
" It's Alexandrite. Come for a challenge, did she? Well, we'll see about that! " Jasper said with an evil grin on her face.
Suddenly, Lapis was forced to fight those who she hated most. They were no friends of hers, but they were of Steven's. She tried to fight back, but she couldn't stop Jasper from taking control. Malachite rose out of the water, and Lapis's arm suddenly twisted, and through Malachite's eyes, she saw water rising up from the sea around her. They turned into piercing shards and I was forced to throw them at... my savior's friends, his guardians, and his caretakers.
