It was that time of year where the night sky will be lit up with beautiful colors and parties happen. Me and Erwin had left Japan to stay in New York City for about two days. We had no idea what this holiday was and why the Americans enjoyed it so much. We walked down the busy street and saw stands where fireworks were being sold. I furrowed my brows when I saw a kid buying some. Those are pretty dangerous and they allow the young ones to buy them? I was going to say something but Erwin kissed the top of my head and pulled me with him to get me walking again. I sighed and squeezed his hand.
"I don't get these Americans." I mumbled under my breath.
I heard the taller man chuckle softly at my complaining.
"We aren't staying here long. Japan is our home. We don't have to get them.. We just need to figure them out is all."
"Hmf." I looked around and gave a very intimidating look to a man who was gawking as us like we are disgrace or something. He looked away immediately and a small smirk formed on my face. Erwin can't keep me from speaking my mind all the time. I was lost in thought while the blond led me somewhere. I eventually came back to reality and noticed that we were stopping at a hotel. He held the door open and I walked in before him. He approached the counter and got us a room for the two days. We walked to the correct number and he slid the card letting it unlock before opening it.
I stepped in front and went in first turning on lights. It was a pretty nice room. One bed. TV. Counter. Some chairs. Erwin closed the door and set his wallet, phone and the room card on the table. He went up behind me and kissed my neck.
"So.. What do we do first?" He whispered and I bit my lip turned to face him.
"I don't know. You tell me." I tilted my head back to look up at him. He smirked and kissed me, long and hard on the mouth. I clung onto his blazer kissing him back. He slipped off my coat tossing it somewhere on the floor. I took his off and soon enough we were bare skinned beneath the blanket on the bed. I was clinging to the sheet as me and him fucked hard. I don't know what it was but me and him had a thing for roughness. I slid my legs against his waist and he pushed in further making me yelp and moan louder. My eyes closed and he wrapped a hand around my neck as we continued. When we both were wore out, I curled up close to him. I was panting helplessly from how tired I was. He was barely out of breath. His eyes were closed and he breathed calmly. We slept and showered when morning came. We had a small list of stuff to do before we had to watch the fireworks.

After the list was taken care of, we headed to the spot where the fireworks were going to go off. I was kinda not interested in the bullshit holiday but Erwin was excited. He leaned against the rail and pulled me close.
"Its a nice night Levi. I'm glad I'm here with you." He smiled and looked down at me. My eyes met his and I smiled at him.
"Yeah. I'm glad, I'm here with you as well ." I leaned against the rail as well.
"I have something I've been meaning to ask you." He spoke again.
"Huh?" I questioned. The blond pulled something from his coat pocket. Erwin then knelt down on one knee in front of me. My eyes widened and I just held his gaze. He took my left hand into his "Levi.. We've been together for a while now and I'm so in love with you .." He paused for a moment and a ring was held out to me.. "Will you marry me?" Erwin spoke confidently as I was frozen in shock.
"Yes.. Yess.. I do. I do." I was not able to hold back the excitement. I hugged him tightly and he stood slipping the ring onto my finger. When we kissed, it was time for the fireworks to begin. We held our locked lips until eventually, we watched the pretty colors light up the sky. It sure was beautiful and I would be returning to Japan an engaged man. I was too excited. This was the best day. I think I might like this holiday. Maybe.
