"Okay, ready?"

"Ready," she replied and we chatted the night away like we always did.

Beep Beep.

8 58am

I reached for my phone. It was a far stretch but I just had to check.

"Oh, it's from her, that stretch was totally worth it," I smiled, nodding at my own joke, "I'll reply her later, don't want to say too much. I'm gonna see her soon anyway."

10 49am

I replied her.

10 55am

"I'll be there somewhere between 12 30 to 1," my phone beeped.

"Pfft, she's totally gonna be late," I thought to myself. I always teased April for being slow but it was me who always was, but I liked to tease her all the same.

The screen flashed bright.

12 26 pm

Was it too early? I really didn't want to seem like I was too eager. Dad said that he could drop me off after lunch, but after lunch would mean that I would be there by 1 30, and the flyer said to be there then but because I wanted to steal more time with him, I..

"Its fine," inner me sighed, "just.. just ask him where he is."

Okay. One more turn before I see the church.

Beep beep.

Oh, he isn't here yet. Well, great, you sound overly excited. Why were you even here so early anyway. Okay, wait, you need to reply him- sound cool, not like how you're talking to yourself.

"Yea, I'll be getting the snacks then"

What else is missing? Oh yeah, a smiley face.

"Yea, I'll be getting snacks then :)"

You got this, April, just don't freak out.

*howling* (my sms notification)

She's already there?! But I'm not even done packing! Come on August come on, pick up the pace!

Is the zipper stuck? Don't do this to me now.

"Phew, okay done... Ko, let's go!"

1 15pm

What is up with the traffic today? It isn't even the weekend yet.

I'll just check the time.

Can time just slow down for a second, I just want to be there.. now.

"When will you ever learn, August, to not be so last minute," I could already see my sister rolling her eyes at me, "if only you packed and left earlier you could have extra time with her, that was the plan! "

1 30pm

That must be the church!

"Okay, let me try looking for her before calling that adorable phone of hers," I thought as I left the car, planning to surprise her, "I should be able to do at least that."

" Thanks, Ko,"

She's in there.

Gosh, I can barely..

The anticipation to see her was unbearable.
