The Wolf And I

Chapter One

"You are mine now."

A man with long brown hair in a low ponytail and lavender eyes, stares into my eyes. He whispers to me. Then he kisses me.

I wake up in a tangled mess of blankets. 'Why do I always wake up at the good parts?' I quickly untangle myself from the blankets and sit up. I look over at the clock on the side table next to my bed.

5:30 a.m.

"Ughhhh!" I let out as I let myself fall back onto my pillows. I close my eyes to run over what I'm doing today. It's the first day of school and it's senior year, so I need to pick up my schedule. Aunt Tsunade wants me to give a tour to some new kids. I have basketball camp after school and I have to find someone to watch Haku for a couple hours. Great. I better get up then.

I sit up and stretch before getting out of bed. I slowly walk into the connecting bathroom to get the water, for my shower, hot. As I wait for the water, I grab a towel and washcloth from under the counter. I stick my hand under the water. 'Good enough.' I climb in and quickly wash my hair and body. I get out and wrap the towel around me. I brush my hair and put them into two buns that sit on top of my head. I brush my teeth before walking to my walk-in closet. I put on a sports bra and underwear on before putting black shorts and a white basketball themed t-shirt. I grab my orange Nikes and long black Nike socks. I sit on the bed to pull my socks and shoes. I grab my backpack and basketball bag that already packed. I throw them onto my bed.

"MOMMY! MOMMY!"

Haku, my two-year-old son, yells. I turn around and quickly pick him up. He hugs me with one arm since he has his blue dragon stuffed animal and I give him a hug back.

"Morning, sweetie. How did you sleep?" I ask him and nods his head as he sucks his thumb. "Good. Are you ready to see Aunt Shizune and Auntie Tsunade?" He nods his head again. I shift him to where he's sitting on my hip, so I can grab my bags.

"Let's go get breakfast." I tell Haku as I walk out of my room. I walk downstairs to the living room to put my bags on the couch. And to the dining room where Naruto and dad are already sitting. I put Haku in his booster seat and walk into the kitchen.

"Morning, mom," I say putting a kiss on her cheek. I grab a sippy cup of milk for Haku before going back to the dining room.

I give the cup to Haku while sitting down in the chair next to him. I look over at Naruto, who has his eyes closed and snoring a little and dad, who is reading the forbidden book.

"Mom, dad's reading that nasty book again." I say covering Haku's ears knowing what's going to happen.

"KAKASHI! WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT THOSE NASTY BOOKS! You will be sleeping on the couch again tonight." Mom says stomping into the room, grabbing the book from dad's hands, and slapping Naruto on the back of his head to wake him up before walking back into the kitchen.

"Anko, dear. Why?" Dad asks heading into the kitchen to talk to mom.

I grab a piece of toast off the pile and give it to Haku. I put some bacon and toast on my plate. I start to eat and so does Haku and Naruto. Mom and dad walk back into the room for breakfast. Mom hands me Cheerios for Haku. I put the bowl in front of him and he quickly grabs a handful to stuff into his mouth.

I finish eating after Naruto and pick up after Haku. I put everything in the kitchen and walk back into the dining room.

"We have to go. See you guys at school. Love you." I tell mom and dad as I grab Haku after giving both of them kisses of the cheek. They echo the love you with the same.

I walk into the living room to grab my bags and walk to the garage. I flip the light on and a two rows of lights turn on. I walk to where we hang all the keys.
