(It's horrible and short, You have been warned)

Savannah

I hadn't realized that I missed these four people so much until I was sitting on the back patio, gazing out into the space of the back yard with Nicole beside me. Michael had given out drinks to everyone and was now chatting away with Calum as Ashton and Luke were recording a video for SnapChat.

"So, I have a new job offer for you." I bumped my shoulder against Nicole's. We were sitting on the steps, aimlessly talking about random things.

"And what would that be?" She asked, taking a drink of the wine we were drinking.

"Well, I know that you have other clients but I really love your work and you're one of my best friends so I figured that you should be my makeup and hair artist from now on." She gave me a look, clearly thinking about what I had just asked.

"Isn't Amy going to be coming back soon?"

Unfortunately Amy wasn't. There was a lot of things going on with her family and she had to choose between working on tour or being at home with her family, and she obviously picked her family; and I honestly don't blame her. When I had explained this to Nicole, she had turned her thinking face into a smile.

"I'd love to, Savannah, but you first have to actually get back to work first."

A grin made its way to my face causing her eyes to go wide; short thing of panic went through me as she opened her mouth to speak.

"It's a secret! No one can know a thing."

When I had said this she immediately wanted to know more on what I was being so coy about. With a comment to the guys about wanting to walk around a bit and catch up with Nicole, we made our way away from the four of them and farther away.

When we were far enough away that I was sure they wouldn't hear, I told her all about how Breanna had called with news that I would be the closing act at the Teen Choice Awards but only the people working there and with me were supposed to know and I planned to keep it that way. I would be there to support Michael because the band was nominated for some awards but other than supporting them, that's all that anyone would expect me to do there.

The night of the awards is also the night when my album will come out, that's why we were doing the surprise performance of a new song from the album.

"So, which song are you going to perform?" She asked. I gave her a smile but didn't answer.

Michael

The warm liquid from my cup of coffee warmed my body up ad I walked back upstairs to one of the guest rooms in Ash and Calum's apartment.

Last night all six of us stayed up and had some drinks and talked; caught up on everything. It was a nice evening, especially when Calum brought out the game Cards Against Humanity. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard over the crude answers these people were playing.

Rain was softly pelting against the house, I smiled though, as the sound was actually quite soothing. I was up way too early because of the rain, and I thought maybe a warm drink would help for me to go back asleep. Walking back into the room, I set my cup down on the night stand and climbed into bed, resting my head against the head board.

Savannah was curled up in a ball beside me, snoring quite loudly. She says that she doesn't snore (and I'll let her believe that) but she actually does. We had both went to bed fairly early than the rest, only to have a bunch of wolf whistles and comments about what our activities would be from our drunk friends.

Nothing happened though, we both changed and went to bed.

Grabbing at my phone and at my drink wasn't the best idea as I accidently knocked over a few small objects on the night stand.

"Shit." I muttered, trying to grab the stuff and be quiet at the same time. It didn't work though as I heard the other side of the bed move and a soft yawn.

"Mikey, what are you doing?"

"Nothing, nothing. Go back to sleep babe, I didn't mean to wake you." I said, turning to look at her. Her eyes were blinking fast as she tried to look up at me but the light from my lamp was causing her to have trouble.

"Why are you even up now?" She asked, moving to lay her head on my chest once I had placed everything back on the table.

"Couldn't go back to sleep. The rain wasn't as calming as I had first thought it to be."

"Hmm." She mumbled, closing her eyes. "Would you like me to sing to you?" She asked, a hint of a smirk peeking through.

Even half asleep and she can joke around.

"No, you just sleep, babe. I may take a while to follow suit."

I ran my fingers through her hair, it being a definite thing to help her sleep. It was our vacation, she didn't need to be up at this hour. Especially when I go back on tour in a few days and I'll have to get back to being up early and constantly being busy.

And Savannah, she'll be back to work too with her new album coming out soon and promotion for it would be starting even sooner. We'd be apart again and I know it'll be hard to communicate with both of us being in different time zones and having work to do.

But its Savannah and I, I know that we can make it work and somehow figure out how to communicate during the difficult times. If not we'll work it out. I don't want to lose my girlfriend over something like our different schedules or work.

Told you. I'm sorry though. I had been side tracked for the month and I promise I'll get back into the groove of writing soon. There's just so much going on. Had a date with a guy I really like Friday and we really hit it off, so I'm being side tracked with that also. I'll make the next one better. Promise.
