Second Date Chapter 9

"Ding!" "Ding!" I groaned as my phone made that annoying sound over and over again. It was Friday and we didn't have school today so therefore I wanted to sleep in. I sighed and checked my phone. 7 missed messages and 5 missed calls. Great. Messages first. All from Justin.

J- Hey, ready for our date? 9:45am

J- Hello? Are you okay? 10:00am

J- SANDRA WAKE UP!! 10:30 am

J- I'm just gonna keep bothering you. 10:55 am

J- WAAAAKKKKEEE UPPPP!! 11:15am

J- You're so lazyyy. 11:30am

J- IT'S ALMOST 12:00PM!! 11:45am

S- OMG CHILL!! Can't someone sleep in peace? Plus we don't have school today why are you up so early. I need my beauty sleep ;)).

J- Sorry. But, you need to get ready our date is at 12:30 XD

S- OMG I NEED TO GET READY TTYL

J- Ttyl XD

I shot up out of bed and ran into my closet. I picked out gray jean shorts, a shirt that said "Awkward much?", and my white sandals. I looked down as I heard my stomach grumble. No one was home, as usual. I ran downstairs and found fake vegan bacon. Ew. But there was nothing else so I slid a packet into the microwave.

I ate in complete disgust and finished right when I heard a car pull up. I got my bag and went out the door to see a random lady in my driveway. Confused, I went up and knocked on her window. She rolled it down and looked me up and down.

"Excuse me, why are you in my driveway?" I politley asked her.

"My car is out of gas and, by bad luck, I pulled into your house" she replied with disgust.

"There is a gas station a couple of blocks down why don't you just walk there?" I asked her trying to make the best of the situation.

"And ruin these heals? Darling, no. Why don't you go get me some..peasent." she groaned.

"I need to go somewhere sorry ma'am." I say.

I walk inside and just hope Justin will get here and that lady will be gone.

**10 MINUTES LATER**

I looked out the window and that lady was still there. I didn't want to be rude but I guess I'll have to bring the authorities into this. I sighed while pulling out my phone and marking 911.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"Hi, this lady pulled into my house about 10 minutes ago saying she's out of gas. I suggested that she go walk to a gas station that is 4 minutes away and she still hasn't left."

"Okay ma'am what's yout address?"

"458 Brooke Avenue"

"Okay, authorities will be there shortly."

"Thank you"

**TIME SKIP TO AFTER THE LADY LEFT**

"HONK!" I looked out my window and saw Justin. I walked outside pretty pissed but I calmed down a little bit. The lady would just not leave! She stayed there for 20 minutes. I climbed into the passenger seat and we got going.

"So how's everything?" Justin asked.

"Alright. Except for the fact that a lady wouldn't leave my driveway." I sighed.

"Wait what?" He bursted out laughing.

"It's not funny!! But, yeah she came in saying she didn't have gas so I told her that there was a gas station 4 minutes away. But she just wouldn't leave! She stayed there for 20 minutes!" I said giggling.

**TIME SKIP TO CARNAVAL**

"But that was too funny!! That lady looked at you while you were shoving your face with cotton candy!" Justin said while laughing.

I giggled then pouted. He then pulled me towards the Ferris Wheel. We have been here for 3 hours and it was starting to get dark. The line for the Ferris Wheel was loooong. But after an hour it was finally our turn. We got in and talked about random stuff.

We made it to the top and it stopped because they were letting more people on. I moved closer to Justin because he knew I was scared of heights. He put his arm around me and pulled me closer. I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back and leaned in...
