This takes place after Madam Red's death.

Ciel's POV:
I laid there in bed, my eyes shut, my body at rest; but my mind in the darkest of places.

That horrible sight in front of my eyes. Blood painted the floor like a canvas, the walls bloomed crimson like a rose. The bodies that lied there on the floor, trapped in a rag doll position. Tho it was just for a moment, my porcelain eyes had seen too much. And then, there was her...

Her face, laced with absolute horror, betrayal, shock, but yet somehow, relief. The monochrome blades piercing through her body, like a ship through ocean waves. The way the fire in her eyes slowly died down to ashes as she finally graced death with her presents. Her body fell to the ground, lifeless and soulless.

My body jerked upwards, no longer in my 'peaceful' state of sleep. My breath was heavy, adrenaline pumped through my veins, beads of perspiration dotted my forehead. I looked around the exquisitely decorated room. My terrors got the best of me as I began to reach for my pistol underneath my pillow.

"S-Sebastian...?" I called out into the darkness of night. I heard not a single sound.

"Sebastian..." I called out a second time. This time the large doors opened with a slight creak. My raven haired butler appeared through the doorway, a small, lit candle in his slender hand.

"You wish for my presents, Young Master?" His voice was smooth and soft, making me feel a little more at ease.

"Yes, fetch me some Earl Grey." The ravenette smiled and bowed his head.

"As you wish, My Lord." He left the room, leaving me in an eerie silence. My hands constricted tighter on my bed sheets as I heard the clamor of my window opening. I had no clue in my mind as to why I was so nervous and jumpy.

A few moments later Sebastian came into my quarters, ushering a cart with tea. He pulled out a blue willow designed cup and gently poured the tea before handing it to me. I gingerly took the fragile cup and placed it against my slightly chapped lips. The sweet, hot liquid felt soothing as it rushed down my throat. I placed it back on the table and sighed.

"That was all Sebastian, you may leave now." Sebastian smiled gently and bowed, his bangs swaying downwards.

"I wish you peaceful sleep, Young Master." He then walked to the door and placed his hand on the gold door knob.

"If you are in need of my assistance again, please do tell." He said smoothly as he left.  That sudden sinking feeling hit me again, as I was left alone in my bedroom. But then, a nagging voice was persuading me to return to my slumber.

I rested my head on my pillow and slowly, fell back into my abbess of sleep. Instead of returning to the horrifying events previously, I was in a cherry tree forest. The trees were vibrant with different shades of pink, a slow breeze blowing through them. It was calming, I felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders and away into the crystal blue sky.

"It's alright Ciel, you're safe here, they're is nothing to fear." A voice of an angel spoke out to me.

"Who's there? Make your presence clear." I commanded softly. I heard her voice giggle, it sounded sweet with sugar and dripped with kindness like honey.

"I've come this far to see you, to help carry your worries, your burdens, and your strife with you." I turned to have my gave set upon a beautiful girl, all dressed in white. The only thing I could truly see of her, were her vibrant (E/C) orbs.

"Come find me Ciel, and I can truly save you from your hurt." I reached for her hand, it was nothing but mere centimeters away, until morning came..

I woke up. My eyes slowly opened as I gave a yawn from exhaustion. My navy blue orbs flickered to the glass window panes, sun shined brightly through it, embracing the world with light and warmth. I gently placed my feet on the cold, oak floors and carefully walked to the door. I placed my hand on the intricately designed handle and gave it a small turn. To my surprise, as I'm sure to his as well, Sebastian stood in the doorway with my breakfast tray. He smirked proudly and made his way into the center of the room.

"I've prepared your breakfast Young Master, a poached egg with English muffins, crab meat and hollandaise sauce." I nodded and sat down at my marble table as Sebastian placed my first meal in front of me. I took a small bite, savoring all the juices and flavors.

"It's good." I said shortly. Sebastian smiled and bowed.

"I'm glad you find it to your liking my Lord."

After breakfast, Sebastian dressed me in the proper attire for the day and we prepared for a small trip to the monastery. We were asked to investigate the murder of the friar by the queen herself. I believe it would give me a good start if we interrogated some of the other monks and nuns of the holy dwelling.

I sat in the coach, gazing fondly at the world outside, but the only sensation playing throughout my brain, was the voice of the lovely maiden from my dream. I will find her.
