"Sun!" The brunette almost went flying over the counter to give her buddy a hug.

"Energetic as ever, I see," he chuckled. "The hell you doin' here? I thought you lived way out by Beacon."

"I do," Ruby replied. "I'm here 'cause of my friend." She turned back to Weiss. "It was actually a total surprise for me."

"I see," Sun nodded.

"Weiss, this is my friend Sun. We have martial arts together. And Sun, this is Weiss." Ruby looked proud of being able to introduce them.

"Weiss, eh?" Sun put his arms on the counter and leaned down to get a closer look at the heiress. She stared back at him with fire in her eyes. "You look kinda familiar. Hey, Red, isn't Weiss the girl you have a th-"

Ruby discreetly tugged on his ear before he could finish.

"Yeowch! Okay, okay." He backed off and whispered to Ruby, "She in la-la land or something? She hasn't said a word."

Ruby turned back to her friend, who was still giving the cheeky monkey a look that Ruby knew all too well. "...Right," the heiress finally said. "Nice to meet you."

"Same to you," Sun responded in his casual tone. "I swear I've seen you somewhere before, though. Must be my imagination. Ah damn, right! My job." He pulled out a gigantic bucket of tokens. "How many ya thinkin'?"

"Do you cuss like this in front of all your customers?" Ruby asked with one eyebrow raised.

"What? Oh, of course not," Sun laughed. "I'd be fired in a heartbeat. My boss hates me as it is. I just kinda went into 'casual conversation mode' for a second there."

"Sure." Ruby rolled her eyes.

Weiss suddenly spoke up. "I'll take the whole bucket."

The rowdy pair simultaneously turned their attention to Weiss, their jaws hanging open.

"L-look here, missy," Sun stuttered after recovering from shock. "First of all, there's no 'bucket deal' or anything like that. Second, this is literally all I've got up front. I can't just go and give you the whole damn thing."

"You can, and you will," Weiss replied calmly, taking out her credit card and handing it over.

Sun hesitantly took the card, looking at it as if it were obviously a fake. Then, he flipped it over. "...Ah, I'd know this snowflake anywhere," he said. "You're a Schnee."

"Miss Weiss Schnee, to you. It's about time I got some recognition," the heiress huffed.

"Whatever, Princess. You got me. The bucket's yours. Doubt you can carry the damned thing, though," he chuckled as he ran the card through the scanner. The heiress glared daggers into his back. He must've felt it, for he suppressed a shiver.

When he handed it back to her, he suddenly snapped his fingers. "That's it!" he exclaimed. "You were at the homecoming game. I knew I recognized you."

"I don't recall-"

He cut Weiss off. "Must've been something, coming all that way on the field just to congratulate my boyfriend. He is the star player of the team, though." He chuckled. "Don't blame you for being impressed."
