"I was just hoping that you'd y'know.... fall in love with me" he said. "In your dreams pretty boy" I whispered in his ear. Disappearing before he could look back and see me. He looked back only to see nothing. He spoke in an angered tone,"Show me your face Chloe, I know it's you." "Shoot" my cover was blown! "How did you know it was me" I whispered in his ear. Before I could disappear he grabbed my shoulder and made me look at him. He smiled at me but I pushed his hand of my shoulder. "I don't know how you know me or my name but you won't for long" I pull out the knife I had hidden in my pocket and held it to his chin. "Chloe, why don't your remember me, what did they do to you" he said to me. "I don't know what you talking about, I have know clue who you are" I said to him slowly creeping the knife closer to his face. He grabbed my check making me drop my knife on the floor and he kissed me. All the memories came flooding back to me in a blur and I fell on the ground. I got up slowly looking him in the face. "Know do you remember me" he said. I looked him in the eyes,"William, Wh..what happened" I stammered. I heard a faint slow clap and stood up. He came in to view, tall dark and handsome. And then William stood up and glared at him and spoke,"Cole what are you doing here." Cole, Cole my own boyfriend was against us. I slowly started to walk to Cole William tried to stop me but I shock him off. As soon I got close enough to Cole I smacked him in the face sending him to the floor. "Why would you that to me, we were supposed to work together to defeat William. He has stood in the why of our relationship" he shouted! I looked back at William who looked heated. He looked at me and glared and started to speak," Chloe what the hell, you told me nothing about a boyfriend." Cole started to speak know,"What have you been dating someone else. How could you!" Cole started to walk over to William and they both crossed there arms at me. "What?" I started to speak but they cut me off. "Chloe what else are you hiding" William spoke. The light was starting to fall above the boys head. I didn't want to do it but I used my magic to keep the light from falling on there heads. They looked above there heads to see the light hanging in mid-air. They looked at me see me holding the light above their heads with my magic. They stared at me in shock and then Cole spoke,"Chloe what are you even doing, is this another thing you were hiding." "Uh...um...I" I finally give up on explaining and start to run. I can't take this, they weren't supposed to know I had magic, they weren't supposed know. I start to cry and I fall to that ground and start to scream aloud,"You guys weren't supposed to know, you weren't supposed to know!" I finally break down and just start crying. The boys come over and squat by me. "I don't know where it came from, so don't ask" I spoke to them. Cole gets up and starts pacing and William tries to stop me from crying. He hold me close and I feel content. I snuggle close to him hoping Cole doesn't notice. Cole spins around and looks at us I sit up quickly hoping he didn't care or notice. He starts to speak so he might not have noticed,"Chloe I've got it. I know why you might have powers but we may have to run some tests." William know starts to speak,"What kind of test are we talking about here it can't be to dangerous. I mean we don't want to hurt Chloe, right?" I start to speak standing up as I do,"Where do we start." But before Cole can answer I transport myself to the lab. I can faintly hear William say that isn't going to get annoying but Cole states otherwise.
"Chloe I'm going to need to draw so blood so stop squirming" Cole speaks. We had been running test for at least an hour and still hadn't told us what we where looking for. I had finally had enough and I asked Cole,"What are you even looking for, you haven't told us in the past hour." Cole took a moment before he spoke,"Well...I have the mild consideration that you might be a descendant of Ember." From the back of the room William starts to speak,"Who is that, Big brain?" Cole respond by saying,"Well, I'm not surprised you don't know since you're so fucking stupid." William gets up and tackles Cole as they fight I get up and go try to break them up. I'm then swept away the boys attacking each other and I'm in the middle. They then stop and start to laugh on the floor. "You guys are so immature" I walk over to the lab table and looked in to the microscope. Cole comes over to me and pushes me away from the microscope with his hip and looks through. I walk over to William and sit beside him, cross legged. He grabs my shoulder and ruffs my hair, after he pushes me up against him. I he his heart pounding and I forget about everything in the world. I stop tensing and ease into him, I hear a loud crash in the background and am startled to see Cole glaring at us. He grabs William by his collar and drags him of the ground. Cole punches him and opens the door only to throw William outside. Cole grabs my check and presses his lips toward mine and I feel a jolt of electricity pulsing through my body. I press into him and hold on to his neck, I know the door is still open and William can see us but I don't care. Cole pulls away from me so he can see my face, he takes me into his arms and holds me tight. We stay like this for awhile and he pushes me out the door with William and closes it. I look at William only see him staring at the door, he turns to me and stares. His big beautiful gray eyes come closer and closer to me. He grabs my back and pushes me towards him I star at him and start to speak but he cuts me of,"I love you, Cole is just going to use you as a source of power. Don't let him run any more test on you, Okay?" "I...." but he disappears before I can finish. I knock on the door of Coles lab, I won't let him run test on me any more but I will figure out why I have powers. William could never stop me from that.
