"Gumball! Can you come and speak with me and your father for a moment?" I heard my mother call out to me. I was peacefully sleeping until they had awoken me. Oh well, they are my parents, I can't talk back. I jumped up and headed to the main entrance hall/room or at least it may as well be a room because it was so very large. My parents were sitting on their thrones and greeted me with smiles. "Well mother, what is it?" I asked politely. "Gumball.....me and your father are getting quite old...and we need someone to take care of the kingdom so we can take a break and live what left of our lives we have to just relax and not worry about the kingdom. So...Gummy, basically what I'm saying is that you need to get married pretty soon. Have you found a girl you like yet?" My mother asked me so very calmly. "Uh-um...well...no. I haven't mother. But I promise I'll find the perfect lady to help rule the kingdom with me." I told with confidence. "Well, good. You may leave now Gumball. Breakfast is in your room." My mother replied. My father was silent for the most part. He usually doesn't take charge. My mother does a lot of the work but...she doesn't seem to mind. I left the hall and went to my cozy room. I've spent almost my whole life here and it's just really been getting to me lately. I want to explore and venture off to places, discover new creatures...and maybe...just maybe...find true love. But of course my parents would die if they saw me venture off like that. Apparently, I'm "valuable". I sighed and looked out the window seeing the beautiful view. The only place or time I ever get to be outside this castle was when I was in the backyard. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to stay there for a while. I quickly ate my breakfast and headed to my closet to change out of my pyjamas. I wore my lovely hooded pink sweater with black jeans and I wore purple boots to tie it off. "Mother! Father! I'm going to go play in the backyard!" I yelled out to them. "Okay dear! Come back for supper!" My mother reminded. "Yup!" I replied and left.
