We ended up driving a couple of miles to the nearest Rehabilitation Centre in Central London. It wasn't a long drive, but wow it was annoying. Every few yards Dylan would wake up, completely confused, scream, close his eyes, and go back to sleep again. We'd decided that it would be really horrible to plot to leave him in a London car park, especially since he was drunk out of his skull. I'd called the Rehab Centre whilst Jessie and Robin were lugging the dazed Dylan to the car, and they'd said it would be okay to drop him off considering his condition. I'd explained to them that he had a drinking problem, and it was getting severe. I explained the whole situation about him getting violent because of the alcohol, and that I wasn't even sure where he was getting the supply. They agreed that he could become dangerous and even more harmful if he wasn't treated soon, so we could drop him right off without having to go to court or anything like that.
Robin sat in the back with him, and Jessie was driving beside me. Every now and then I'd gently rest my hand on her thigh and she'd glance over at me, begging me to stop. I loved winding her up. She loved winding me up too, though, and she knew how to get me exactly where she wanted me. Every now and then she'd poke her tongue out the side of her mouth seductively, but all I'd do was pinch her leg gently, telling her to stop. I loved joking around with her, but I knowing me, if anything was to happen, I wouldn't want to stop it, and I wouldn't want Robin to feel awkward...
When we pulled up in the car park of the Rehabilitation Centre, Jessie and I decided to stay in the car whilst Robin dragged a dozy Dylan from the back. "Thanks for the help, guys!" He joked, calling over his shoulder. He tried to wave but Dylan's half dead hand slapped his arm back down and around his waist, ensuring extra support. Jessie and I giggled in unison, and before I knew it Jessie was practically in hysterics. "What's funny?" I asked, prodding her arm with my finger. "This whole thing." She breathed. "I'm just thinking about everything that's happened in such a short space of time. It's so crazy." -"I agree, babe," I turned around awkwardly in my seat and looked at her flushing pink face. "Including you. You're pretty crazy too." I pecked her on the lips. She giggled again and stared at me, not blinking once. What was she thinking?
When Robin returned to the car, he plonked himself in the back and sighed, before whining that he wanted shotgun. I turned around and rolled my eyes at him, and then I looked over at Jessie, as if to get permission to swap seats with Robin. She nodded gently and laughed again, and I slid out of the car and exchanged seats with Robin. It wasn't bad sitting in the back, in fact, I kind of enjoyed it. Made me feel like a little kid again.
"Where are we off to then?" Jessie asked, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel. I shrugged. Robin looked at Jessie with big childish eyes. "Well Demi promised me a coffee before we boarded the ship again, and well, uh, the last time we saw each other in the café was when you were with Summer." He rolled his head back and looked at me with his huge beads as eyes. "And we both know how awkward that was." He let out a chuckle and pulled himself to his previous sitting position. "So," I rubbed my hands together. "Costa?" Jessie nodded again, but this time it was more prominent. Robin smiled widely and clapped a few times, before bobbing up and down in his seat excitedly. "You're such a kid." I sighed. "And I thought you were the mature one of the two." Jessie finished for me.
This made Robin drop to his seat and stay there, quietly. His eyes dragged down to his legs and his clapping changed to a twiddling of thumbs. "What's up?" I asked, leaning forward and pressing my hand on Robin's shoulder. "It's just all this... All this crap." He folded his arms, forcing me to release his shoulder. Jessie started the engine. "With Dylan and stuff. He was like my brother, you know that." -"I do, I do. You two were inseparable, even Harry said that." I paused to chuckle as the sound of Harry's thick Irish accent played in my ears. "This is all happening so fast, so much is changing, so much is gone, but so much has come. You just have to go with it."
Jessie leant to the side and rested her hand on Robin's leg. "I'm sorry. I know all of this must be hard for you." She spoke slowly, trying to sound as comforting as she could. She smiled gently at him, before looking back at me. She released Robin's leg and reached behind to press her hand sweetly onto my cheek. "We've lost a lot. We all know that." She breathed. "But we've gained so much too. We're all in this together." I nuzzled into her hand as her soothing voice caressed my ears. She made me feel so safe. Robin sniffed loudly and broke the warm feeling of the car. "Come on then," He wiped his eyes with the back of his hand. "I don't know about you, but I can hear a coffee and a chocolate muffin calling my name." Jessie winked at me as she turned away to face the wheel. "So can I, but it's a blueberry muffin." -"Nah babe." I called, bobbing up and down in my seat a little. "Chocolate is so much better." I winked at Robin and leant forward and pecked Jessie on the cheek. She pouted as I fell back to my seat, before rolling herself over on her own seat and kissing me quickly, her hands both sides of my face. "Much better." She whispered, pulling herself back and slamming on the accelerator.
Author's note: I know this Chapter is quite short and compact, and not much is happening, but I'm probably going to write the last Chapter to this fanfiction later today! This Chapter was sort of just a gap filler, because I knew I couldn't leave my readers on a cliff hanger like that. I've already started to plan my next Jessie fanfiction, so I will start to write that up soon too. I'd just like to say thank you for everyone that has read and enjoyed this book. It is my first successful fanfiction, and it means a lot getting all the support I am getting from you guys. I really want to be an author and this is a good place to start I guess, so I just wanted to thank you for reading my work. :)
