   "Come on, Elaina, wake up, we're here!" I say to my sleeping best friend.

  Let me introduce myself! I'm Addilade Morgan, and Im 18. I'm here in L.A. California, with my best friend, Elaina. We've worked part time jobs from the age of 14 to save up money to get here.

"I can't believe it, addilade. We finally made it here." She giggled.

"Oh my gosh, I know. Our dreams are coming true. Finally. No more Florida. No more crack head of a mom. And no more people telling us how to live our lives!" I said with relief.

"let's go inside!" Spoke Elaina.

"I call the biggest room!"

  We managed to have enough money to rent a house.

Elaina and I have been friends for about 7 years now and still going strong. Our friendship started in an....unusual way, but, who cares. All that matters is that we're here!
