The cold stung my nose. I needed to sneeze but something was preventing me. Maybe it was the fear of the thing sitting next to me, or the intense white light from the ceiling. I clenched my fists and shut my eyes tightly, I had to think of something else, anything to drag my mind away from IT. The thing made a loud, grotesque squelching noise and I jumped. My eyes flew open and I looked at it, bad idea, I sneezed loudly straight at its 'face'. It stood on its four disgusting stump-like legs with a huge growl. I whimpered. This thing looked at me with an angry scowl, it opened its huge cavernous jaws, filled with sharp ugly teeth, it moved toward me, and, with an ear-piercing scream-like yowl, it lept. My eyes flew open as I screamed, I sat up in my disintegrated bed, covers all over the floor. My mum came in as I looked around and saw my own room. The nightmare had been so vivid, but it was over.
