BRRR!!! BRRR!!! BRRR!!! The sirens in the elementary school wailed. Dan and his fellow grade 2 classmates headed into the Safe Room, which was located 25 meters below their two story school.

It is the year 2125, and 6 year old Daniel Lopez, or Dan, was in the middle of making a dinosaur in art class, when the evacuation alarms went off. They have been having these evacuation drills unusually often, and some teachers are becoming uneasy.

"ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! STUDENTS, PLEASE REMAIN WITH YOUR TEACHERS AT ALL TIMES AND BE AS QUIET AS POSSIBLE! TEACHERS, YOU WILL HAVE COMPLETED PHASE 1 ONCE THE STUDENTS ARE IN THE SAFE ROOM. IMMEDIATELY AFTER, BEGIN PHASE 2."

Dan looked around and saw faces of fear on his peers, but what scared him the most was his teacher, Ms. Gebka, who was supposed to be acting calm and soothing, but now had an expression of panic on her face. She was looking to make sure that all 25 of her students had been accounted for, but she only counted 24.

"Boys and girls, follow me, we have to find your other classmate." Announced the fear stricken teacher.

They were just leaving the Safe Room: a very large grey, but well lit room, that had the capacity to safely and comfortably hold up to 1,250 people. The room consisted of leather sofas and arm chairs, a few t.v.'s, a kitchen, several washrooms, and hundreds of beds as well as an exceptionally stocked pantry that could feed a small city for over three months. Overall, it seemed like a 4 star hotel without windows.

An announcement over the PA system clarified that it was not safe to proceed back up to the school, and for staff and students to head into or stay in the Safe Room.

The teacher was in so much distress she did not hear the announcement, so she led the students back up towards the school. Ms. Gebka was about to walk into the classroom, when she suddenly stopped in the middle of the doorway, blocking the view of the other children.

"Oh my..." Whispered the teacher. She looked towards the front of the room, and nearly fainted. "Boys and girls, p-please walk d-down the hallway and head to the s-safe room."

Ms. Gebka looked like she just saw a ghost. Her face was ridden with shock and terror.

"What is it Ms. Gebka?" asked a curious student.

"I can't...I can't tell you." Replied the shaky Ms. Gebka.

Ms. Gebka saw a sight that would traumatized even the bravest.

Her student, the one that was missing, had both his arms hanging out of his sockets just connected by a shred if skin. His left eye was laying at his feet, and his other eye was split open, but still in his socket. There was a slit in his throat, his jugular was torn out. His face was a mixture of blood, ripped skin, and muscle. Both his legs were strewn across the floor, leaving a trail of blood going towards his body. But other than the fact that he was dead, and his body was rent apart, he was fine.

Ms. Gebka turned to leave and escort her class down to the safe room, but something caught her eye. She adjusted her head back towards the classroom and looked straight up at a massive creature, standing only a few meters from her, with its head penetrating the roof.

This creature had two big black eyes, a mouth full of knife-like teeth, two burgundy, muscular arms, and spider like legs. This 3.0 meter, grotesque looking creature had a small sword strapped to the its chest, that was about two feet in length, and looked about 11 pounds in weight. It had a big green gun that glowed whenever the monster touched the trigger.

Then the gun started to glow.

ZAP!

Dan saw his teacher suddenly fall back, and then noticed a gaping hole on her forehead, which was slowly melting away the rest of her face.
