How do people view death? More importantly, why do we fear it and what causes fear in death? But don't get me wrong, there's nothing strange about fearing it. It's only natural. Some fear it more than others just cause they're more uncertain about their own life and what choices they've made. Have I lived my life the way I should've? Could I have done anything different?
If I were to die today I'd be worried about one thing: my salvation. I know I can't earn it but know it comes from accepting what Jesus has done. I've done that, but it's still nerving when I haven't been living the way I should. Then I think about death, possible eternal separation from God. That's when I think of some of my friends who hasn't even accepted Him. I won't be able to see them... and its people like that I think fear death the most. Why? Cause they especially don't know what happens after death, what could happen to them.
As for death itself, there's two forms: Physical and Spiritual. The physical death happens to everyone at the end of our lives whenever that'll be. Spiritual death doesn't happen to everyone. The only way you can avoid that death is by accepting that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and ask for Him to come into your heart. Do that, and you won't have to die twice. And spiritual death is far much worse, it means eternal suffering with Satan. So do your soul a favor, accept Jesus as your savior.
