I miss him. Please come back, Sameer, thought Natasha. Sameer had finally left for London. She was all alone now. With Sameer not around, the world felt white and black to her. How she missed him. How she hated him. How he made her feel insignificant and stupid. She had always considered him to be her hero in disguise. Always there to save her from failing at those horrendous math tests.

"You're such a bimbo, Natasha. Pinku had forty eight apples, he gave 30 apples to his friend. Later, his friend gave him 19 apples to thank him for his kind act. How many apples Pinku has with him now? What is so tough about this problem?" asked Sameer impatiently.
"What is a bimbo, Sameer?" asked Natasha with genuine curiosity.
Sameer facepalmed himself and replied," not what, who. Who is a bimbo? A bimbo is somebody who is very pretty and stupid."

"Did you just call me pretty, Sam?" asked Natasha, feeling her cheeks become hot.

"Haha, you and pretty? Sure", replied Sameer, cockily. Natasha stared at him in awe as he solved the problem in 3 minutes. He is so smart. And arrogant. Natasha without realising, had summed up Sameer in 6 words.

"Please have a seat. You must be Natasha Iyer, Sameer's only real friend", said the police officer the moment Natasha entered the office. He started to interrogate her without even thanking her for coming to this godforsaken place, and according to Natasha that was very rude. Half an hour and two coffees later, Natasha thought that the police officer was bullshitting her.

"Are you kidding me? Sam and a-a criminal? He might have had to consult a psychiatrist in his childhood but he is not a psychopath!"exclaimed Natasha as she banged her fist against the table.

"Calm down. There is no need to get all heated up", said the officer lazily. He found her very typical. With all that makeup on and those cute clothes she was donned in, she easily passed as an easy going person. She must have been quite popular back in her college, thought the psychiatrist who felt helpless throughout the whole session. He found himself drowning back into the dark ocean of memories, from which he had great trouble in coming back out alive and sane.

"You shouldn't have said that to her. She was only a little girl after all", said Mr.Evans, after hearing Sameer talk about his only friend.

"Oh please. Back then, we were small, but we were of the same age. She used to act so dumb. She used to stare at me all the time. I had a tough time getting along with her. Thank God she is out of my life finally. I cannot stand people", said Sameer, nonchalantly.

"Is this the reason why you created Jerry?"asked Mr.Evans gently.
"This is the last time I'm telling you doc, that I did not create Jerry. He exists and he is sitting beside me. He is sitting right beside me! He is sitting right beside me, doc!! I'm not mentally disabled, doc! Let me go...".

"And you're ready to go", said Mr. Evans, patting Sameer on the back.
"Thank you. Thank you for making me realize that imaginary friends are not real. But, doc..."
"Yes, Sameer?"
"There is this thing which constantly nags me. I feel unnerved all the time. I know Jerry does not exist, but does Jerry know he does not exist?"asked Sameer, frightfully.
"Are you okay, Sameer?"
"Haha, I was only messing with you, I'm completely fine. Jerry does not exist.

"Hello, there", said Lily.
"Why are you smirking?"he asked with a clear sign of annoyance in his voice.
"One person who could see you thinks you don't exist anymore. What're you gonna do? After all we are just a figment of their 'imagination'", she said.
Lily couldn't stop laughing once she said that. She was in hysterics. She couldn't stop laughing. He just looked at her in annoyance and wondered why did even decide to hang out with her in first place.
Yes, I remember, Lily's creator happens to Sameer's only friend. Sameer, I'm going to miss you, thought Jerry. The thought of not seeing Sameer ever again gave him jitters. His world revolved around Sameer, no, scratch that, his world was Sameer.

"You're finally going", said Natasha with a deadpanned expression.
"Yeah", replied Sameer without even looking at her in the eye. He pretended he was busy with packing his stuff which he was already done with a few hours ago.

"When is your flight scheduled for?"
"7:00 P.M."
"Hmm."
"..."
"..."
"Guess it is a bye then?"
"Umm, I guess so..."
"I wanna tell you something."
"I wanna tell you something."
"Haha, same time huh? You go first."
"Nah, you go first."
"Alright, well, uhh, sorry for being rude and...um...well...yeah, that's it. You?"
"Oh. It's okay. Uhh, well, have a safe flight."

Natasha gave him a tight smile and fled away. I should have confessed my feelings.

Sameer saw her flee away after the awkward conversation they had. He looked at the petite figure until it disappeared and became point sized. Dammit, I should have confessed my feelings.
