Chapter 5:Different

Melody's pov

'So i'm here again...Great.' I bitterly thought as I stand in what seems to be my mind or something else.And there it is again, the same nightmare that keeps playing in my mind over and over again every time I close my eyes.It just won't stop.I look over and I see Him.He standing there looking at me.He's angry at me for something I don't even remember.He shifts and teeth bared looking straight at me.Ready for the kill. I move farther away until I couldn't,it was like there was some invisible wall. Just as he lunges at me he disappears.Then that same loud,glitch-like laughter invades my ears again.It was the one who causes my nightmares.

"͞͝D̛̕i̵̴͢͜d̸̀͘ ̢̕͢y̶o̴͟͝u̸͘ ̷͠m̕͝i҉̶͝s͏͞҉s̀̀͜ ͏̵̡̕͡ḿ̶ę͡҉ ̵́́͟ẁ̶͢͠h̴̸̨̡̨ì̴̵́͡ĺ͝è̀́̕ ͏̸͞y̛҉o̕͏̨͠ư̸͟ ̸̵̡̀͟w͝é̶͠͞͡r̶̢̧̡̀è͘ ̷̛̕a̵̕̕w̡̛͟à̡͡ķ͘͟͞é̶̴̴.̢͢͡҉"̸̴̧͘͡ She mused,she sounded close.....too close.I turn around to see a wolf(that is the size of me) with a purple outline looking at me with a wide smile.

"͜͠W̨͜͢ḩ̴̸̛͜a̵̕͢͟t̸͟͟҉s̴̢̢ ̀͞͏̶̨w̴̨͝ŗ̴̴̛͡o̢ǹ̷̢̢g̡͟͡͡͞ ̵̸́͝l̡̧̢̡ó̸̴͡v̵̸̕̕͠ę͢͏ ̷̛y͏̶̀͠o̷҉̸͞u̶҉̨͢͝ ̕͢d́͟i̸̸͜͟d̵̵̀̕n̵̵̡̛͟'̢̀t̷̕ ̛̕͜͝͡ḿ̶̧͟i̷̕͞s̶̴͘͠s̀͠ ̡̧̀͜m͟͡é̢.͢͡͡"̨̛ She taunted at me with her ever-glowing eye staring right through me."why can't you leave me alone for once and go away."I pleaded to the monster.

W̷͝͠h̸̕͢y̨̛̛͘͜ ̢̢̕͏͢c̵̴͞a҉̡̕͝n̢͝҉'̶̡͘͟͞t҉҉͡͡ ̴͢͠w̛̕͘ę̷̷ ̕͟͟j̨̛͏̛͡u͘͡s̕͝ţ̧̀͢ ̛͟g͝e̛͏̶̨̛ţ̛͏ ̀͏á͠l̷͜҉o̡͜n̡͡g̢̧ ̴̡̛͘M̧͟͟͢͞ę̨͞͠ĺ̶̛̀͟o̶̧d̸̢y̶͢.҉͘҉̨ she asked stepping ever so closer to me but I stepped farther away. W͘͜͝͞h̶́a҉̨͝t̷̨͢ ̛̕͝͝t̷̶̡́h̸̴̢é͘ ͜͏͟͝͝h̷͝e̢̢͡l̀͡͞ļ͘ ͟͟͠͏͢į̶̢̕s̕͘҉̡ ̡̛y͢͏̛͞o̕ų̷͠r̷͢͠҉ ҉̵̡p̸̵̨̧͟ŕ̸̨ò̢͢b̵́͢l̸̨͘͘͟ę̡͘̕͡m̢̀͟͞! she yelled at me getting closer now."Don't you know it's not nice to curse at people."

"̵̴͠͡S͡͡҉̧͠a̷̢̢̛͜í̶̴̛͡d̨̀̕͝ ̴̧̕t̷͘͟͡͡h̴̢̨̕e̴̴ ̢͜͡o͏̢͘n͘͠͡e̡͢ ̵̕w̢͟i̸̷̢t̷̀́͘h҉̴̢̀ ̧͟҉͡҉m̛ơ̡m̵̨m̷̧͜y̕͞ ̡͘͜i͞͏͢͟͞s̶̶̢͞ş̢͢͡ú́͘͢ȩ҉̷͏s͡҉."

I tackled the wolf and grabbed its throat and I slammed it into the floor with a loud growl."Don't you ever and I mean EVER talk about her again.DO YOU HEAR ME!"I roared in my Alpha tone at the demon,but she just started laughing at me.

Third pov

Tom looked at the wolf as it was waking up from it's slumber.It opened one eye and looked at him,then it looked the other way then it laid its head down.He tried to get closer but the wolf softly growled as a warning to him to stay away.

So he just sat there,but every now and then he would steal a glance at the wolf just to be sure it was still awake.Everything was silent until he tried to move closer to the wolf then...

*Growl*

Snap

Drip...

Drip...

Drip...

Blood flowed out of the now small bite wound that is on his hand,he yanked his hand away from the wolf and was holding his now injured hand.But the wolf started to get on its feet and was moving closer to Tom now.By the time he noticed the wolf was just a foot away from him.It kept moving closer to the wound it watched as the blood that kept flowing from it.The wolf eye's had changed into that weird color like earlier,the wolf was near his hand now looking at it intently and cautiously as if it had a motive or a purpose.Then the wolf did something very questionable...

It licked his hand.

He was to afraid to move out of shock and fear so he just watched it and stayed silent again.After the wolf had cleaned all the blood from the wound it rubbed its' head briefly against his hand and went back to her side of the room.

"Thank you."he said still recovering from the shock of the wolf being close but there was something else he couldn't put his finger on at the moment so he decided to just shrugged it off.He left the room as quickly and as quietly as possible trying to forget about the feeling that something is off.

Very off...
