Its funny how you won't listen to word, until you see the picture. When your mom says 'Watch both way before crossing the road', it would take you seeing someone dead in a grave, before you can finally admit, she was right. Its funny how sometimes you won't get what you read until you see a picture. Its funny that you know the word, but you just can't explain it exactly, you'll need to look it up in the dictionary.
I believe that for some people, God picked as a demonstration. Now for every other elderly you speak to, they'll have story. Whether it begins with 'Take it from me, once I...' or 'Just like this time...' and 'I didn't listen, so I...'.
Now most people I know have the tendency to think there lucky, and for one point of my life I was the lucky one. If everyone wanted to, they can give me 25 facts on what I have and they wish they had. I know I shouldn't be proud on making anyone jealous, but it wasn't intentionally....... at first.
I have not a clue who turned that around, but now I can write 65 facts and each fact an essay, for something that anyone had that I wished I had.
Okay, before you write anything down. I am not those snotty rich girls from the T.V movie shows they play on Disney Channel, because for one, I started rock bottom.
"Mhmm" said the guidance counselor as she scribbled something down.
"I'm not crazy, I shouldn't be in here in the first place!" I huffed. I picked at my nail polish watching the piece of nail polish drop to the floor.
"This place isn't for crazy people. Its for you to say what on your mind, and all your emotion." She said calmly.
"Want to know whats on my mind? Nothing at all! I'm just an empty book! We're both wasting our time." I said.
"Empty book? Good analogy, keep going." She wrote more in her notepad.
I looked at that lady straight in the eyes, "Why do you care?"
"I'm helping you. Maybe by telling your story from the very beginning you might see something that you didn't recognize before." She said sternly.
"I said the story so many times in my head already. And to be honest, the story lives on." I said. Maybe she is trying to help me, maybe I should let my emotion flow-- Are you kidding me? Right now I could be at home on the computer, but instead I'm sitting here.
In the little office.
That smells like coffee and old people.
Looking at a lady in her late 40s' with a degree in guidance consoling?
On a round swirly chair.
In front of a metal desk.
Five minutes after school let out.
