Despite the place being miles from civilization, piercing screams of agony always seemed to reach citizen ears. No one ever went there to investigate, to terrified of what they'd find. Rumors spread through town of the owners being the sick-twisted type, the type of people no one wanted to be around, rich, obviously, why else would they live in that place. It's like the place was cursed.

Here lately, every month or so- no one ever knows who took them or where to, though we suspect the mansion. Groups of teens always go missing, seemingly only from families with more than two kids. The town called this place "Horror Hill", seems like a name from some cheesy horror movie, but it's real. And it is horrifying.

Another day passed, five children missing, two people had finally gotten the nerve to go up there and see what was up. New people. Reluctant, yes, but determined nonetheless.

. . .

Now here they stand, at the end of the cracked pavement of the driveway, the gate having been wide open. They stared up at the building wide eyed, a look of terror which seemed to shift into disgust as a breeze blew past, bringing a waft of rotting flesh along with it. Audible gagging passed between the two forms as hands shot up to cover their noses.

"It's...too late to back out now, isn't it...?"

"W-We have to do find where those kids are.." one male stuttered out, emerald eyes flicking up toward the large building as they slowly started toward the front entrance. When the two had reached the mansion doors , they stood in awe at the hauntingly gorgeous building in front of them. "So...who's knocking?" questioned the female, trying not to let her fear show. However, no matter how much she tried her beautiful blue, greyish blue eyes revealed all of her emotions, as she was both scared and excited for the mysteries that were to come. The boy bit his lip in thought, staring at the door. He rose a hand to knock, as soon as his hand hit the door the first time it swung open, reaching forward to grab the knob in an attempt to shut it back, he stumbled forward. "Okay- doors heavier than I thought-" he stood still to regain his balance, looking back.

"Are you alright, Dylan?" She suppressed a giggle. "How are the new feet holding up?" His cheeks flushed and he looked forward. "Shut up..." Dylan tried to call to anyone in the house. When there was no answer he kept walking in. "Should we be doing this? Just walking in uninvited?" Although she was skeptical, Celeste followed close behind him. Once the got to the middle of the room they stopped to awe at the marvelous design of the house. Slam! The front door slammed suddenly. "How did the door close?" Dylan asked calmly so he didn't scare Celeste to bad. "I-i don't know. Maybe the wind?" Celeste said hesitantly.
