Chapter four

When we walked out it hurt to move my body ached so badly. But first thing I hear when I walk out is from two bit.
"Oooooh johnnycakes got himself a girl!"
He blushed but said
"Oh two bit lay off, she was just telling me what happened."
Two bit stopped but soda said,
"I'm surprised your walking this good this fast, they beat you up pretty badly. amd that cut on your face......"
"aww do I look really bad"
dally chimed in
"no you look bad ass."
"dal keep the swearing down" Darry said
Pony boy finally looked up from his book
"In other words you look both tuff and tough."
"Thanks guys"
"Wanna see?" Steve said handing me a mirror.
It was a big long vertical cut in the middle of my cheek. They did their np best to clean it up but it still looked kinda gross with dark red dried blood.
"Hey do you mind tellin us your name?" Darry said
Everyone else said yeah
"Oh my goodness I'm sorry I forgot, my names Anne, Anne Johnson"
I was still really weak so I asked if I could sit on the couch awhile. I also asked Johnny if he could tell everyone the story in the kitchen he nodded and went. Within the hour Johnny told Darry, darry told pony and soda, soda told Steve, and pony told two bit and dally. All their reactions were along the lines of "no that's insane." "Unbelievable" "how'd she know that stuff" "I...I...I can't be fake" "I know I'm real" "the story part. About what's gonna happen to us. It seems kinda believable." "There has to be different worlds then." "Maybe book writers are just seers into different dimensions" no! Dally and johnnycakes" but they all seemed like they kind of knew I couldn't of lied. I mean I don't even know how I got here. I thought they were fictional. But now I got the idea..... maybe s.e. Hinton is a person who goes to their high school and she's like a physic but she's also magical and can travel between the worlds. I don't know I'm just really confused. I talked to the boys about it and Johnny said it was screwin with my head to much that I need to stop thinkin about it. They said we should just try to keep listening to me on how to keep Johnny and dally of not being killed. But they said besides that we can just try to be friends and ignore the craziness of everything because everyone already had a lot on their minds before all this craziness happened. I said okay because I was so so happy they were excepting me.

A few hours later

Everyone had slowly started to leave and the only ones left at the Curtis' besides the Curtis' was me and Johnny. Johnny started to leave
"Hey uhh Johnny your not goin home right?"
"I was just gonna walk on over to the lot and maybe sleep there"
"is it okay if I come? they're gonna go to sleep soon and I don't wanna invade on my first day asking if I could sleep at their house. and I have no place to stay. I figured it could help both of us to not get jumped by not being alone. er if not it's fine I know it's been a long day sorry."
He just chuckled a little and said
"golly calm down Anne you can come it's no big deal"
I blushed and he was still laughing at me when I went to go tell pony, Darry,and soda I was goin with Johnny and thanked them for everything. I came back to the front door and me and johnnys started walking to the lot.
