Everything was quite.
Everything was numb.
This feeling wasn't anything new to me.
I could feel myself slowly start to wake up. Lifting my arm to my head and slightly turn my head. My body felt so light, so lifted. Although my body was numb, my eyes were heavy like I haven't slept. My mouth craved the taste of water, when I swallow, it felt dry and it burns.
I finally opened my eyes knowing I won't be able to sleep without at least getting a drink. I layed there observing my surroundings. I was laying on a reddish carpet with lots of stains all over it. It smelled pretty bad but I was still in my own little world to make the effort to get up. There was many smells in the air, it was also very stuffy.
After a while of staring at the floor, I focus my eyes up to the chair. Someone was sleeping there. One leg on the arm resting and the other on the floor. Their arm was fallen to the floor while their head was laying back. I couldn't see who it was but I wasn't interested enough to find out.Turning my head slowly looking at everything, I saw I was in a motel room. Not a very nice looking place. Expecially with empty beer bottles all over the room and different kinds of drugs next to the television. I never question what happens anymore. What happens, happens.
Forcing my self to get up, I still felt a bit light headed but I managed. I began walking to the bathroom not daring to look around the room. There was many other people. Many of them, I couldn't give a fuck about. I guess you could say I use them but they were still pretty chill so whatever.
Reaching the bathroom, the bathroom counter was covered with lines of cocaine, heroine, beer bottles, pill bottle filled with xanax, and pre rolled joints. Carefully trying not to touch anything, turned on the sink and drank some water. It was very refreshing . It was like I haven't drank water in days. After quenching my thirst, I wet my face. Thankfully, the motel didn't have a mirror. I really didn't want to see myself rn.
My back pocket began to vibrant. Looking at my phone, it was just a email message. Placing my phone back in my pocket, a second later I took it out again realizing I forgot to check the time. It was 4:47am Sunday morning. It took me a while to realize what was wrong. I have church at 7:20.
