Dear society,
I'm breaking up with you,
I'm sorry to tell you it's not me.
It's you, it really is.
Dear society,
I'm breaking up with you.
As an effect of this,
You no longer own my body.
You no longer own my thoughts.
Dear society,
I'm breaking up with you.
And I hate to tell you this,
But your rules need to stop.
Bottom line. Drop.
Dear society,
I'm breaking up with you.
My body isn't a number,
And my thoughts aren't just imaginary.
It's not faking smiles towards you anymore,
This time it's war.
The thin pretty girl you train,
Was taking a lot of pain.
But not anymore.
Dear society,
I'm breaking up with you.
This time for real.
You are just a lie,
Dressed and disguised.
Dear society,
We are breaking up with you,
I hoped you had fun.
But we sure won't miss you.
