It's a normal school prom night for Chancy Evans and everyone else at her school. Chancy and her boyfriend are the first to arrive. The annual Midnight Ball is the one thing she always looks forward to.
The clock strikes midnight and there are two men in black with black ties standing in the corner. "Miss Chancy, Princess, come with us," they say as they walk over to her.
"Me, a princess?" Asks a curiously surprised Chancy.
"Yes, now come with us, you're in danger," reply the guards, "we need to get you somewhere safe." She blindly follows them. She always thought her parents abandoned her as a child but apparently they were ruling a kingdom way across the sea the entire time. This is where her story and her new life begin.
