WARNINGS: DEPRESSION, SUICIDE ATTEMPTS, SELF HARM MENTIONS, STRONG LANGUAGE, DARK STUFF MY READERS!

That's it. You were done with this life and these stupid fucking people. You were a tattered soul, one that didn't need to live on this jacked planet any longer. Your life was everywhere and your story was splattered with self hate and issues you were too weak to fix. Your body covered in fresh cuts and worn scars. Where? Doesn't matter. The fact that they are there is enough. You were ready, it was almost a relief to think it will all be over in a split second, just one jump and that's it. You had acted happy for far too long and took too many battles that mentally and physically broke you. That's it.

You quietly strolled down the rainy street, your hood up, casting a gloomy shadow over your dull (e/c) eyes. Your fresh wounds stinging just a tad, but you had other things on your mind. Honestly your heart was beating way too fast for your liking, didn't matter. It would all stop soon.

You could even imagine the cold rush of your body falling down into the deep blue waves of the sea. Maybe that was strange, but you stopped caring about anything. You didn't dare reminisce on the very rare good times in your life. It might change your mind. You doubt it though.

It's kind of funny, walking past all these people. Not one knowing what you're about to do. Not understanding what you're about to do. Despite everyone feeling sad once in a while in there life, they don't get why you would want to end it all. Not unless they've been to that dark point yourself.

The walk seemed short and you were almost to the bridge, there were very few people there, all trying to scurry home and get to their loving families.

Not paying attention you brushed the shoulder of a guy in a red hoodie, his own hood was up but his head shot up to look at you.

When you realized he looked at you, you felt strange. Almost as if he knew what you were about to do. That scared you. But that was silly to assume, how the hell could he tell what was going on? That's right, he couldn't. So you continued on your way, not looking back.

The rain slowed down a bit, not that you cared, why did you care? "Im losin' it" You whispered to yourself. You were supposed to be happy, somethings wrong though. You were so close to being dead, but that guy... That guy. The thought of someone understanding and knowing something was wrong, it just got you. You longed for someone to know you were hurting, you wanted to reach out your shaky and scared hand and hold onto him.

You shook your head getting mad at yourself. You then roughly grabbed the rim on your hood, pulling it down to hide tears and bolted to the bridge. The wind and rain making it harder to run. You were a self punisher. If you could cut yourself for those thoughts, you would. Though, you didn't need a longing for something like that to keep you in this hell.

"Stupid (y/n), stupid (y/n), stupid, worthless (y/n)!" You jumped up onto the bridge, spewing hateful words at yourself aloud "GAH, you let everything break you down, you dumb fuck!" Tears rolled down your puffy and red face, your body ached, it took all of you to pull yourself out of bed this morning. You just wanted to end it. You felt an almost enjoyably rush. A small smile hit your face as your weak hand grasped the metal bar of the bridge. The wind picked up and your hoodie blew off your head, as your (h/l) (h/c) forcefully danced in the wind.

Gazing at the dark blue water crashing against the rocks was a site indeed, It was getting late and it felt eerily quiet, no one was around.

"Hey." A raspy voice said.

Your eyes widened, not daring to look who it was. Though, you knew. You broke down crying, while sliding down, back to the metal bar, holding your legs to your chest.

The guy from earlier. You were right. He knew something was wrong, so he came after you.

The man in the red hood had a cigar in one hand, while he walked closer to you as if nothing was wrong. He touched your shoulder and traced his hand down your arm till he reached your shaky hand and held it tight. He proceeded to sit down by you and look out at the sea.

"My names Tord" He quietly introduced himself, while smoking his cigar "What's yours?"

You sqeezed his hand and stuttered out your name in one small breath "(y-y/n)" you then look up at him through your blurry and tearful eyes, "P-please l-let me die" you continued "I-I'm begging you!" your voice was strained and your face was pale. You most certainly looked like your were already dying.

"Why?" He asked while gazing at you through half lidded eyes.

"Be....cause" You wheezed, "I-I don- I can't go on!" He looked at you with a strait face.

"You'll regret it" Tord whispered, slightly lessening his grip on your hand. More tears fell down your face and you sniffed loudly. He smoked his cigar once more and looked at you while rubbing his thumb in circles on the back of your hand. "Listen (y/n)...when you jump of this bridge, all this regret will swell up inside you, I promise that"

You glanced out into the rushing night water, but you couldn't take it anymore, you wiped your face of tears and quickly jumped up, sliding your hand across the metal bar, making your finger tips the only thing keeping you from falling off. You were on your tippy toes, not paying attention to the man trying to save you.

You let your hand go. Your other hand unlocking fingers with Tord. That's it.

"Sorry" the raspy voice said "But I can't let you do that"

You felt his arm quickly wrap around your waist, while he dropped his cigar and held onto the metal bar making sure both of you don't fall off. The rush of falling hit you and left just like that, to a feeling of being held. A warm body. A human being holding you and caring about your life. You looked down at the sea, your bodies dangled dangerously close to the edge. You could see his cigar fall down to the crashing waves hitting the sharp and slick rocks.

"(y/n)"

"..."

"It may take awhile but I'm willing to help you"

"..."

"..."

"Do you promise, Tord?"

"Yes, I promise"

"Thank...you"
