Sophia POV

Previously on Unexpected...

"Calm down, Brooke. Let me finish." I finally settle her down. "I'm leaving on Saturday or Sunday of next week and I won't be back until early November. That's one of the reasons why I decided to do online school or I won't be able to go on this tour. Most importantly I'm going because it is a perfect opportunity to do some modeling and small comercials around the world." I stand there waiting for her response as she stares at me. Unexpectedly she....

She hugs me. Not what I had expected but I'll take it. I hug her back.

"I'm happy for you. Honestly I'm upset that you won't be with me during the school year, but you will be able to do greater things in life. Since this is your career path, you should take it and I really can't stop you from living your dream because of me. Besides I have people, your not my only friend. But seriously, what kind of friend would I be if I didn't support you?" She chuckles a bit at the last part and pulls away from out hug.

"See, this is why your my best friend." I smile.

"What can I say?" She smiles and shrugs. "I'm hungry as f. I need food!" She walks over to my fridge, inspecting what's inside.

"I only bought about one week and a half's worth of food, so please don't eat all of it." I laugh.

"How about...salmon with mashed potatoes and green beans?" She looks over to me.

"And who's going to cook that?"

"Cosidering that you bought this food...you!" I stay silent and stare at her.

"I was joking. Let this chef do her thang." I walk to the kitchen and bring out all the ingredients.

"Ok, I'll do the salmon and you can boil the green beans and make the mashed potatoes.

"I don't know how to make mashed potatoes!"

"Look it up." I flash her one of my award winning smiles and she rolls her eyes.

"Okay.."

I lay two pieces of salmon on a baking tray and season them extremely well. The salmon has already been skinned and cut. It makes my life ten times easier. Once I'm done, I pop those into the oven and set a timer for twenty minutes. I look over to my right and see Brooke still working on the green beans. All she had to do was cut the ends and put them in the pot. I decide just to work on the mashed potatoes while she continues to cut the green beans.

"You, really couldn't be any slower cam you." I throw two potatoes in the pot for fifteen minutes.

"I'm trying not cut my fingers." I shake my head and wonder how she even lives on her own.

"What do you even eat?"

"Microwave food, pizza. You know, the basics. I don't really cook, period."

"I can see that."

I continue to make the mashed potatoes and finally the green beans get cooking. We are done in about thirty-five minutes. Brooke sets the table because she is literally a child and the job was made for her. We both dig in and enjoy.

"You could be on Master Chef and practically win with this meal!" Brooke says with her mouth slightly full.

"One day."

"Sooo, you and Harry aye." She does this funny thing with her eyebrows that makes me chuckle a little.

"Honestly, these people just stretch the truth. I don't even have to read the article to know what they said. They are all good looking people but I'm not really on the position at the moment to have a relationship with one of them. In fact, just anyone in general. My chances are just one in a million."
