Hello potential readers. You're probably here because you ship Gumlee as much as I do and you're looking for more...I've been shamelessly reading a lot of fanfic the past couple of weeks and I decided I wanted to give it a go. Partly for the fun and experience of writing a real story (which i've never done) and partly because I want the story to go my way this time. I don't like being disappointed when I get to the end, so I hope you won't be. I don't have an entire plan for this story or an idea of it's length and complexity, so i'm just going to go where it takes me. If you find this note before I actually start uploading, i'm sorry but you'll have to wait until tonight for the actual first chapter or two.
A couple notes about the AU that this story exists in:
1. Obviously, this is the gender swapped universe of Adventure Time, so they live in Aaa (glob I keep accidentally typing Ass)
2. All of the characters are as they are on the show, same general physical traits (I might change them a little bit), abilities, you get it
3. I might occasionally add some pop-culture references, break the fourth-wall that kind of thing because i'm trash and I like talking about trash. Just assume that somehow, people in Aaa have knowledge/access to modern day pop culture or an AT version of it. Example, we all know if Marshall Lee were real he'd be emo trash too, he's probably still grumpy about the MCR break-up.
