Chapter Three

Olivia's Point Of View

" Why are you still up? " I ask, curling up closer to her. It's really cold in here it must be the air conditioner.

" Oh um I fell asleep like at eleven thirty or so and just when you guys came I woke up so I'm not really tired. " It's four in the morning right now and I have no idea why I'm up.

I look over and see that Jess is still sound asleep.

" Let's wander the town. It's beautiful at night. " I stand up and grab my jacket and sweat pants, slipping them on.

" You're too much kid. Sure, let's do it. But we have to be quiet, my sister might wake up. " She whispers.

" Okay we'll I'm already ready so I'll see you outside. " I climb out her other window.

Waiting for what feels like forever, Riker finally comes out.

" Sorry, had to do something. " Is her only excuse. " Wow, that helps a lot thanks for elaborating so well. " I say in my most sarcastic tone as we begin down the street.

" Yea, yea. Hey, where are we going anyways? " I don't answer but I do jump on her back.

" Hmm. I don't know just into the town. I've got ten bucks though so we can get so we can get some coca cola maybe. " I smile widely and she chuckles.

" You're so adorable. You're like a little kid. " She laughs to herself.

" Thanks but I'm cereal. I want coca cola so we have to stop. " I fake pout with a frown. She laughs so hard I almost fall off her back.

" Wait, wait, wait. Did you just say you're cereal instead of serious? That's gotta be the funniest thing. "

" Thanks. I started saying it over a year ago when I realized cereal and serious sound pretty similar. Jess hates it though. "

We finally reach the town. It's really nice here at night.

There's always cute couples walking around here this late. There's always soft music playing and everything is lit up with beautiful lights.

" Wow! " She exclaims as if she's amazed by the sight.

" What? " I ask questioning her newfound fascination in the now lit up town.

" I've never seen it like this. So, so beautiful! " Her eyes widen and I laugh. " That's exactly how I described it. " I whisper to myself.

Now we're just walking around. The fancy restaurants are looking really mice right now but I only have ten dollars so we keep walking until we reach the corner store.

" Hey Mr. Anderson, how's business going? " I ask grabbing two bottles of coca cola out the fridge.

" Hey Liv. Shouldn't you be at home sleep? " He laughs.

" Actually my parents are out of town so in staying at Jess's house. " I counter.

" Well shouldn't you be there sleep then? "

" Nope cause Jess and I are staying this ones house. " I say pointing to Riker.

" Oh and who might this be? " He turns to Riker when he asks.

" Who might you be? " I tease pulling her toward me, our lips now centimeters apart.

" Ahh, young love. I always did find a specific fascination in that topic. " He smiles at the both of us. I stare into her eyes until I get lost in them.

I finally snap out of it when the door opens. It's a young couple looking for some condoms. Riker and I begin to laugh when we see how desperate they are to have sex but I mean it's cute. They're in love.
