9.|| That's my cousin Miguel.

Victoria's p.o.v

We drove back home and the car ride was awfully awkward. None of us said anything except for Joe who occasionally tried to make a joke. Tried to. Failed. It wasn't funny.

When we arrived I immediately ran upstairs with my food and texted Ellyz.

To: Senpai
Dudette come over we've got some talking to do

She responded almost instantly.

From: Senpai
Aight see ya in 2 minutes bitchacho

Two minutes later Ellyz walks in and layed down without even looking at me.
"What the fuck is up with Jace? I said hi to him like the fucking nice person I am and he just looked at me sighed and walked away."

"I don't know, he was all good this morning. He's been like that since we walked out of Taco Bell."

Ellyz's head chirped up immediately as soon as I said 'Taco Bell'.

"Wait what." She got up and sat down next to me. "You got Taco Bell without telling me. That's it our friendship is over." She said as she stole a bite from my Quesadilla.

"Oh gosh, I could never wish for a better friend than you." I told her.

"No, you indeed couldn't. Because there is no one better than me." She said, failing to hold her laugh in.
Which made me laugh, which led to us both laughing for about five minutes eventho it wasn't that funny.

When the laughter died down a bit, she spoke up, "No but seriously, what happened?"

"So as we walked in, this really cute guy kept looking at me. He came up to us and asked my number and I gave it him." I got cut off by a comment Ellyz made.

"Hmpf, whore."

I smiled innocently at her and continued my story.
"So I gave him my number and he said some really cheesy pick up lines. And after that Jace just acted really weird."

Was he jealous? No, I'm sure he's not. Why would he be jealous of some guy. Maybe just protective?

"He sounds jealous?" She said, more of a question than a statement. "By the way my nephew moved into town, he's starting at our school tomorrow."

"The cute one? What's his name again.. Luke?" I asked.

"No, you haven't met him actually. He's a nice person you'll get along fine. Now give me more food."

The next morning I got woken up by the loud noise that I thought was my alarm. I reached over and blindly touched my phone a few times to try and hit the snooze button. I could've sworn I hit it, but the sound kept going. I opened one eye to check and I was right.

It was then that I realized it came from one of the boys' phone.

"PUT YOUR FUCKING PHONE ON SNOOZE SOME PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP FOR FUCKS SAKE." I yelled at them.

"YOU'RE CLEARLY A MORNING PERSON AREN'T YOU, VICTORIA?" Someone yelled back.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP. ALSO SHUT YOUR FUCKING PHONE I'M GONNA CHOKE YOU I'M NOT EVEN KIDDING." I threatened.

I suddenly heard a knock on my door. "What the hell do you want?" I said, my voice slightly muffled because my face was buried into my pillow.

"It's Joe. Jace's alarm is still going off but he isn't up yet. Hes kind of a deep sleeper. We can take advantage of that and make him pay for the noise."

I looked up and smirked. "Alright what do you have in mind?"

"Come on."

Ten minutes later we're stood in front of the stairs, Jace's mattress with Jace taped on it in our hands.

"Okay I'll count 'till three.

One..
Two..-"

"Wait on three or after three?"

"Seriously Victoria? After." Joe sighed.

"One..
Two..
Three..
NOW!"

I threw the bucket of water in his face and Joe pushed the mattress off the stairs.

"OH MY- WHAT THE FUCK"

We heard him yell. Me and Joe were on the floor crying from laughing. That was amazing.

Me and Joe arrived after 20 long minutes of walking because Jace wouldn't bring us with his car. He did take Ellyz after he flipped us off.

We walked in and I saw Jace walking next to Ellyz. He laughed at her and put an arm around her. I felt something twist in my stomach.

Ellyz's p.o.v

Jace threw his hand around my shoulder. "Uhmm, not to be rude or anything but why are you doing this?"

"Doing what?" He asked with a genuine smile on his face.

"I meant why is your arm where your arm is, Jace."

"I'm sorry, it's just- I mean, can we talk about this later?" he said as he put his arm where it was supposed to be.

"Sure, hey there are Vic and Joe."

First and second period seemed to pass by as slow as a car without wheels. Especially since I didn't have it with Victoria.

I made my way to the cafeteria and sat down next to Vic and our friend Niall. We've known him since start this year and we were already really good friends with him.

"Ellyz don't look behind you theres a really cute boy and he's looking this way." He said. Oh yeah, Niall was also very gay.

"Oh my God it's the Taco Bell guy. Shit, I didn't know he goes to this school." Vic said as she tried to cover her face with her hair.

I turned around and looked at the guy they were talking about. My eyes widened in schock. I turned back around and said, "that's my cousin Miguel."
