Sample story I'm editing right now...

The dark grey clouds were moving swiftly above me, blocking the little bit of light that tried desperately to shine. Thunder struck a few miles away and I knew it was only a matter of time before a rainstorm would start, drenching everything in a sea of water that always seemed to be present. I was now down 5th Avenue, running towards the Danville Museum, a big museum full of strange creatures and people. It's the only museum of its kind, only containing anything mythical.

I could see the dark roof of the museum now, peeking behind a few small shops and houses. I marveled at the strange beauty of the houses down 5th Ave, with their light blue roofs and dark brick walls, strange round windows and rounded balconies, they looked like houses from a child's drawing. They were slightly lop-sided and the windows were roundish and of various sizes. I could almost remember drawing houses just like it.

Turning down 6th Ave, the large museum was in plain view now, towering above every building withing five miles. It was made of a dark granite-type stone, with large steps that led up to the huge glass doors. Stone columns reached to the very top, fifty feet up. I jogged up the stairs and pulled open the heavy glass doors and a burst of warm air greeted me. The smell of polished floor and books was always present, along with the slight whiff of coffee.

Haha(:

Thanks for reading and I hope to edit more soon!
