Chapter 26

Charlotte's POV:

It had been a week since I told Caspar about the pregnancy but I still hadn't told Brandon. Janya had arrived this morning and me and Brandon had been to pick them up and drop them to the hotel before I agreed to meet them for dinner as Brandon had work.

They were meant to fly in the day after I told Caspar, but something happened with Nic and Ian to cause them to delay the trip. I wasn't told what.

We arrived at the airport and I waited anxiously to see them and tell them. I had only been gone for a week and a half but Janya were probably the two people I missed the most. They were so happy and comforting and loving, I was so happy to know them and I knew they'd know what I should do. Not only that but it'd be great just to see them again. They felt like family to me, they were closer than any family I had other than Caspar.

I also knew they were still pretty close with Joe too which I liked because they didn't take sides or take anything too out of context, they just stayed there for both of us, not to mention that Tanya saved Joe's life.

They finally came into sight and I sprinted into Tan's arms. "Tanya!" I squealed and her face lit up.

"Hiya Charlotte." She smiled and held me tight... well I think she did, it may have been me squeezing her.

"Hiya Jim!" I smiled and hugged him too before making our way back to Brandon and engaging in conversation.

"So Tanya, Jim, meet Brandon, the only reason I moved out here."

"Hiya." They smiled and began to talk as we headed to the car.

We hopped in the car, me and Tan in the back and the boys in the front. They all happened to get on really well and I was so happy.

"So how's everyone back home?" I asked.

"They're good, we haven't really seen anyone since you left but we briefly spoke to Caspar, Joe, Marcus and Zoe."

"How are you?" I asked them and Tan's smile dropped a little.

"We'll tell you later but we're good other than that."

"Oh okay." I smiled.

We got to their hotel and they thanked for the lift before heading in and we headed home.

"I get why you love them so much, they're so lovely." Brandon smiled and I took his hand.

"Thank you, for everything. And I know right?! How do they do it?!"

"Maybe we'll be like that, when we're married." He smiled and I looked at him, amazed.

"You really think?"

"Well of course, I love you more than anyone in this world."

"I love you too, too much to even explain." I smiled and he leaned in and kissed me as we pulled up the driveway.

"So, what was it you wanted to talk about?" Tan asked.

"Wine Charlotte?" Jim asked and I hesitated and Tanya clearly picked up on it.

"Charlotte, you're not are you?" She asked and I nodded, ashamed.

"Is that what it was?" Jim asked and I nodded once again.

"Oh, how do you feel?"

"I'm not really that sure, I'm too young to have a baby and I just don't know what to do, especially as it's not Brandon's..."

"Who's is it?" Jim and Tanya both asked.

"Joe's..."

"Oh, Charlotte." They pitied and Tanya held me tight.

"Have you told either of them?"

"I'm not  sure how, that's why I wanted to speak with you guys first, and ask if you could come to the scan, on monday?" I asked and they nodded.

"Of course, we're here for you no matter what happens." I thanked them and we ordered.

"Oh did I tell you Joe came to the airport to find me? He told me he loved me."

"Do you love him?"

"I'm not sure, but I am having his kid, the reason i'm so scared to tell him is because at the airport, I ran off to be sick, I told him I thought I was pregnant and he made me take some test before I left, the only problem is I lied and didn't actually pee on the stick, I knew it would complicate things and he would never let me leave knowing I was pregnant with his baby, I just know it."

"Well, you will always have us." Jim smiled and hugged me too.

"Thanks guys."

Tanya's POV:

Me and Jim had decided to tell her the real reason as to why we're here everyone else will know soon, when we get back but of course, Charlotte won't be there.

"Isn't there something you wanted to talk about?" Charlotte asked and I nodded and Jim reached for my hand.

"Jim?" I asked and he nodded.

"Well, everyone else will find out when we get back but we thought we'd tell you now. I have testicular cancer, luckily they found it early so they can treat it but any later and it wouldn't have ended so well, it's just a matter of waiting."

"I'm so sorry Jim." Charlotte smiled sympathetically. Now I was going to say it, I had to, now was as good a time as ever and at least I was killing two birds with one stone.

"I have some news too, not even you know Jim, I only found out three days ago and only myself and Tash know, I have....
