Once upon a time, there was a girl. She sat patiently on the nearest park, waited to be found. She never thought that she had to wait for around five hours. She kept checking at her watch that was being strapped on her right wrist.
The wind blew away her red blood colored hair. She sighed as she look down on her empty coffee cup. The stain on her brown lipstick started to fade away.
An hour later, a boy came. He was around sixteen, with brown-colored eyes and messy brunette hair. His face was full of freckles, but in a nice way. The girl stood, and dumped her coffee cup first before made her way to greet the boy. Their eyes met, and for awhile, the boy seemed perplexed.
"Where were you? I thought you were at the fifth avenue park...?"
The girl smiled a little and sighed.
"I was never meant to be found so quickly by you."
The boy gulped. His question remained unanswered. "What is it that you mean? Aren't we suppose to see each other there? To have a nice picnic and stay up to do some stargazing...?"
The wind blew again. This time, stronger than ever before.
"No picnic, no stargazing... Nothing. Mark, I am not standing right at your side anymore. Stop whining, stop imagining, and start contemplating at your surroundings!"
Mark, the boy, now left alone by the girl. He was about to call her name when a taller, older guy came and held the girl's hand. Now he kept her name at the tip of his tongue, remained unmentioned.
