Jasmine's POV
Time to show these guys who's boss.
9) You have a happy dance?
Josh's POV
We made our way through the living room to get to the stairs with her leading the way. Her house was huge, and honestly living with her wouldn't seem so bad. Most people would think she was kidding, or saying that just because it fit in the moment, but I saw the look in her eyes and I could tell that even if I said no, she would drag me and my things to her house and force me to stay with her. Honestly, I don't think I'd put up much of a fight. It's like we need each other. She's the only person that has ever been able to calm me down and erase my worries with just one look. When I'm with her, I don't feel like I need anything else to make me feel good and forget about the bad things... she just makes them disappear. I've smiled and laughed more in these two days than ever before. When I look into her eyes its like she takes all of the pain, sadness and everything bad away from me. I know she feels the same way because it happened just this morning. I still can't believe she made a hole when she punched the wall. She's so strong mentally and physically. I really like her and its only been like two days. But in these two days so much has happened.
When we reach the top of the stairs I see three doors, one to the right, one to the left, and one straight ahead. There's also a mini living room type thingy in the middle of them all. I know which ones her room because it says "JASMINE" in big colorful letters on the door, which is the one on the right. She then walks into the door on the left which is a little further down from her room.
Once she opens the door, I can see everything inside. There's air hockey, a pool table, foosball, and a huge screen with a projector showing the game that the guys are playing.
"Alright bitches! who's ready to die?!" asked Jasmine in a loud voice. She then walked over to them and plopped down next to Drew in one of the extra bean bag chairs scattered everywhere.
"You can sit here Josh" she said as she pulled a blue bean bag chair closer to hers.
"So what game are they playing?" I wondered aloud as I walked to the bean bag and sat myself on it.
"Right now they're playing Black Ops. Wanna play?" she asked turning to me.
"Don't do it dude. It's a trap." Said Patrick.
"What do you mean?"
"He means she's fucking boss at this game and she'll kick your ass is you play her." Answered Jake.
"Well I'm pretty good at this game." I retorted. And I really was good. Maybe I could beat her, I mean how good can she really be?
"Suit yourself bro. Just don't ask us for help when she takes your pride and dignity." Ismael called out.
With a chuckle and a raised eyebrow in her direction I said "I think I'll take my chances" with a teasing smirk.
"You see! You guys are just little babies. Josh is actually being a man and playing with me. You bunch of wusses." Said Jasmine as she got up, got two more controllers and made the screen split in half so that we could play by ourselves and the guys could also keep playing, which wasn't a problem because the screen was huge, it took up the entire wall. Right after that, she started the game.
About thirty minutes later, we were still on the same game, but now all of the guys were watching us. She was beating me by about 5 kills. She really was good at this game. If she got this one more kill then she'd win. Shit I thought trying to sneak up behind her. Just as I was about to shoot her, she turns around and knifes me.
"Woohoo! Take that! Who's boss?!" she exclaimed jumping up from her chair and doing what I'm guessing was her happy dance. She's also a pretty good dancer. Damn she has so many talents.
"You have a happy dance?" I asked her with a deep chuckle and amusement clear on my face.
"Of course I do! when you win as much as me, you have to have one." she informs me with a smirk. "Why? you like my moves?" yes my mind answered. It really wasn't helping that she was now dancing in front of me, and she looked really sexy.
"Okay enough of that nonsense!" shouted Drew as he pulled her away. "Movie time!!" he continued shouting as he pulled her out of the room. The rest of the guys followed with their shares of "woohoo"s and "yay"s. I, of course followed them out of the room and to the last door that I'm guessing is where they watch movies.
When I walked in, it looked like an actual movie theater, only smaller of course. There were the chairs and again, there was a giant screen covering all of one wall with a projector.
"Okay so what movie?" asked Jasmine.
"I feel like watching a movie with Robert Deniro." said Patrick.
"The family!" Exclaimed Jake, Ismael and Drew altogether.
"Is that fine with you, Josh?" asked Jasmine. Everyone then turned to look at me.
"Yeah, I've been wanting to watch it." I answered.
"Okay! the family it is.!" She exclaimed.
Soon everyone had their popcorn from the popcorn machine which I thought was pretty cool, candies from the cabinets, and me and Jasmine had pickles. Apparently she loved pickles, just like me.
There were five rows of seats with 4 seats in each row. Everyone was all over the place. In the first row, right in the middle, was Jake and Ismael. In the second row, first seat, was Patrick. And in the third row, third seat, was Drew. Last but not least, me and Jasmine were in the middle seats on the last row sharing popcorn.
Throughout the movie my hand would sometimes brush against Jasmines when we would reach for popcorn at the same time. When there was about fifteen minutes left of the movie, I turned to look at her, only to find that she was already looking at me.
I gave her a questioning look, but she didn't answer. Then I noticed that we were slowly leaning into each other. It's like my body had a mind of its own. I then cupped her cheek with my hand and she leaned into it a little, like if she found it comforting. Slowly but surely, our lips met in the middle. Immediately it felt like fireworks were exploding around us and instead of having butterflies in my stomach, it felt like bombs were going off. I'm kissing Jasmine!! and it just feels so right, like this is supposed to happen.
Is it possible for a boy that has never known or believed in love, to be in love? I questioned in my mind. Right now, anything seems possible, as long as she's with me.
